Let me say this, any review of ones favorite hangout is biased, so here I go, if u look for fancy or food this isn't it, I suggest u stick with what u familiar with, I love this place, a quintessential dive bar, been going there for years, gritty, rough and LI CHARMING, great people, bartenders as well as locals, (sometimes crazy, nutty, friendly, funny, humble, normal or a little misery) it's all here, 20 years and never felt hostile, go check it out everyone is welcome,...
Dave the bartender is absolutely phenomenal. He is upbeat, quick on the drinks and funny as hell. If you’re looking for a good time Tuesday or Saturday - please go see Dave at Hometowne Tavern. You will be family with him!!!! ❤️
The bartender kept saying “eyes up here” which in retrospect I understand after reviewing my photos from the night out. but being a bit buzzed at the time, I was confused and thought that was the name of a special holiday cocktail or something.
