Island Lake Diner located in Lake Ronkonkoma, their menu offers many choices, their portions are huge I usually get two meals out of my orders. It has a typical diner vibe with a large layout that can handle a large group. The service is wonderful and friendly. Overall I would definitely recommend Island Diner for any time of the day dining.

Nice place for breakfast. We had Mediterranean scrambled eggs and western omlet and home fries and coffee. Everything was good. One thing which I didnt like was that there was no creamer for coffee. They only had milk. I am lactose intolerant and the milk made me feel bloated. They should have the creamer option. Otherwise food was decent and so was service. The place gets crowded around 10:30 for breakfast or brunch. Where we were leaving there were ppl waiting to be seated.

Whenever you go into the island like Diner it's like going to a family's house for dinner the atmosphere is so so friendly from the management down to the waiting staff is excellent I can't say enough about the Island Lake

Whether we eat at the diner or order delivery the food is always good. Never disappoint. When we eat there staff is always nice and friendly. Coffee is good their special coffees are really good. I recommend either going there or ordering in from them.

Breakfast was awful, I asked for scrambled eggs with cheese, how difficult can that be? Perhaps, the eggs were cold and the just throw two cold cheese slices over it! My waffles were cold along with my husband breakfast.
After traveling all day I ordered a large pick up order which consisted of nachos, boneless wings, Greek gyro platter and chicken tenders. The nachos were inedible. The chips were stale and it was disgusting. The teenagers who normally eat anything wouldn’t even touch it. The Greek platter was missing the salad, which upon calling the diner was reluctantly added to order. The person on phone was arguing saying it didn’t come with salad but my receipt clearly showed it did. I’ve eaten at this location many times and have never experienced this. I did try to reach out to manager and she said she would get back to me and never did. I’m sad because this place has been our go to for after long days of travel and just wanting something quick and easy. Will we return, probably not for lack of response taken. Not looking for a comp but maybe even a credit for the nachos. It wasn’t a cheap order either, 87$ on pick up.

I stood there waiting to be seated and 3 servers just sat there on their phones talking and looking at me and nobody seated me so I had to walk out and go elsewhere I’ve been coming here for a while and never write reviews about anywhere but this was really disrespectful.
