Well worth the drive to eat on the water. Solid seafood. Service was really slow. Waited 10 minutes before we got up to ask for more drinks. Server was sitting inside. The food and views made up for the lack of service.
What a surprise this was! I have lived not far away for my entire life yet I never expected to find a waterside restaurant in this neighborhood. The road there goes through a variety of less than attractive spots but it is worth the search. The placed has inside and outside seating, an attentive staff, a waterside view and delicious food. We enjoyed excellent fish and chips with terrific french fries. The prices were reasonable and the portions generous. I'd call this a find...
The outdoor seating area has spectacular views not only of the water but also JFK air traffic. Menu is decent, and includes both bar food and seafood. Not for tight budgets. The main downsides are the parking lot is small and can be difficult to maneuver and at certain tables it may take a long time before they give you menus and take orders.
