Good food not oily like other places I've visited. The fried chicken wasn't oily like most and tender enough. Rice and peas on point will definitely make this a common lunch spot aside of the distance.

Just left this establishment and the food was absolutely trash. Fried chicken so dry/hard felt like I was exercising my jaw muscles! Macaroni salad was not it at all.

C&J offers a delightful culinary experience, but my recent interactions with their customer service have been subpar. Specifically, one of the cashiers, Khadijah, has been consistently unhelpful and unfriendly, which can be frustrating when needing assistance. Khadijah's eye-rolling and unpleasant attitude needs to be addressed, either through coaching or assignment to a different role. Furthermore, the menu has undergone some changes, and the TV screens that display it have been turned off. Dare not to ask her what's on the menu. This unprofessional conduct is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the restaurant. Employees must represent the establishment with a high standard of professionalism.

Food is ok but I gave 4 stars because I got back the wrong change and when I said something about it, the lady at the counter huffed and puffed as if I am annoying her for asking for My correct change

This was my first time eating at CJ’s.They didn’t have a menu which left me at the mercy of the extremely rude woman behind the counter. Being fed up with her disrespectful tone, which came across as condescending, I chose to place my order with the young woman behind the cash register. Her attitude was just as nasty. If my wife wasn’t hungry I would have chose to leave and not patronize their business. I’ve lived in New York all my life and have never written a review. So this should tell you the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism was at an all time high. I choose to take my money elsewhere. CJ’s you have to do better.
