WE GOT OUT FOOD 1HR AND 10MIN LATER WITH THE OTHER PARTY OF 6 AND THE PARTY OF 2 AT THE SAME TIME.......NOW PLEASE MAKE THAT MAKE SENSE TO ME. I WAS SO MAD, AND THE PLATE THAT THEY PUT THE FOOD IN WAS TOO SMALL WE DIDN'T EXATLY GOT WHAT WE ORDERED. THE WAITER WAS VERY PLESANT ITS NOT HIS FAULT HE APOLOGIZE WE SAID ITS OK ITS NOT YOU. NOW I ORDERED A SECOND DRINK I SAW THE WAITER GO TO THE BAR AND TELL THE BAR TENDER AND THE OTHER WAITRESS WENT TO HER A MIN AFTER. DO YOU KNOW THAT THE BARTENDER MAKE THE PARTY OF 6 DRINK AND THE PARTY OF 2 DRINK BEFORE US AND WHEN I SAW THAT I TELL THEM GIVE US THE BILL. AND SHE HAVE THE NERVE TO SAY WHY. I decided to have dinner at henricaās tonight. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive and had a huge smile. The wait for the food was very long I would say about 25 to 30 minutes. I had an order of ribs and a side order of mash potatoes and a fruit punch. Hats off to the chef the food was excellent when the bill came I was so surprised. They charged be a service fee because I dined Alone and the bill said under 3 people there would be a service fee of $2.99 the ribs was $15 and the mash potatoes was $6 ok why would you charge $7.75 for a fruit punch. That blew my mind the juice was more than the side how is that possible it makes no sense in their menu showed $5 for pineapple juice and did not give you no other options so I ask the waitress for another juice at to my surprise they charge at outrageous price plus if I wanted to dine alone I will now have to pay a service fee. Never again will I patronize a business that I feel I am being taken advantage. The chef and the waitress belongs in a better establishment than that. If they told me the food was more money then I would have been fine with it but I walked away feeling taken advantage of.

So annoyed with my recent order from this restaurantā¦first I ordered curry goat and stew peas and drove all the way there to pick up my order only for them to send me stew chicken! We Had to drive all the way back there, they did not even offer a soda for the inconvenience but that wasnāt the worst part! both meals were filled with white rice and they strategically covered the bearly there stewā¦and the goat was only a spoon full with a large amount of rice! The food was not even good!! And not cheap! I basically paid for two large containers of WHITE RICE!!! I will never order or recommend this place for Jamaican foodā¦such a huge waste of money $40 later for two āmealsā and weāre still hungry! HORRIBLE!!!!!

Not even 1 star!!!! If you are a large group - do not eat here!!!!! We arrived at 5:30pm - it is now 7:30pm and we have not seen a morsel of food. They do not have the infrastructure nor staff to handle large parties. Mind you they have a bit of an attitude over the size of the group which had a reservation. Save yourself the trouble and tke your money elsewhere

Their tofu lo mein is soooooooo good! I like their vegan/vegetarian options for sure. The only complaint I have is that my family and I ordered food for pickup on Saturday and it took a little over an hour for the pickup to be ready. Even when we arrived to pick it up, there was a still a wait but it seems like a big event was taking place.
In all honesty, Iād probably reduce orders to lessen the pressure off of the staff because Iād think thatād be stressful and then thatād leave customers irritated, especially if there may be a time crunch. Other than that, delicious food that we all enjoyed and Iāve had the honor to eat at since I was child when it used to be Nakisaki. Keep going!

*PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT* henricas is selling water and calling it soup ! For almost 13 dollars you will only get 2 small pieces of beef in your red peas soup ! And for almost 8 dollars you will get 1 piece of beef in your order. This is MADNESS and the receptionist with a nasty attitude tried to make this seem like it is ok and a normal serving. Although she says she's Jamaican and love a lot of meat in her personal soup bowl at home. The service seals the food and it is horrible so I won't be eating here nor drinking they're overpriced flavor watered.

I've been going here since I was little. The food is delicious and you must get the rum punch! However the service is slow much of the time so be progressed to wait. They do have an order-to-go and pick up area around the corner so you can always take out. Enjoy!

Brought my Dad here for Fatherās Day ; first time and LAST time . The resturant was almost empty.Waited almost 2 hours for what we ordered and it was TASTELESS and the meat was COLD ! There was our server Malakai was amazing, I think he was doing everything from serving to cooking to cleaning while the other staff stood in front a glass separation eating watching the guests ( talk about unprofessional) . Truly disappointed , especially trying to support local . Did I mention not cheap !
