Great spot! Food is always fresh and delicious! Scott also has the best lox around, hands down! My go-to spot for chicken salad, tuna salad, and iced coffee. If you are in the area and need are looking for a bite, this is the place to go!
17A Cafe has the best coffee, bagels, muffins , granola etc . Scott the owner has an impeccable attention to detail . Treats his customers like family . 17A is a must go to if you live in the area or are passing by .

This isn’t just a deli. It’s a gourmet culinary experience disguised as a cozy local spot. Every bite here tells you that Scott, the owner (who also works the counter), genuinely cares about quality. He hand-selects the freshest ingredients daily, and it shows in everything from the vibrant flavors to the thoughtful plating.
The menu is creative and surprisingly diverse, with vegan options that are just as mouthwatering as the classics. Whether you’re grabbing a cold brew with one of their specialty milks or diving into a handcrafted sandwich, you’ll be shocked that food this good is tucked away in such an unassuming spot.
Scott brings an energy and warmth that makes you feel like a welcome regular, even on your first visit. This is one of those rare places where the passion for food and people truly shines. Cozy, charming, and absolutely delicious — 17A Cafe deserves every one of its five stars and more.

This is an absolute gem of a cafe. Scott is super nice and makes incredible homemade food. I will be back! Thanks Scott for making me the Schwarma, an off menu item!

Nice find while visiting Roslyn. Extremely fresh, made to order food, served with a friendly attitude. Carve out the extra time ahead of your train to stop in and begin your journey happy and full. Call ahead available if you’re in a time crunch.

Very quaint and is a nice place. Good place to stop and take a quick bite to eat. Only flaw is that there isn’t a menu board to see breakfast options. U just gotta know

Great little cafe! Scott, the owner is the nicest guy. We had a lovely chat this morning. Like me, he’s one of these old school guys who worked hard from a young age, has a really strong work ethic, and is just a nice fella. Definitely try to support this small business. He made me an everything bagel with tofu scallion cream cheese and freshly squeezed blood orange juice. Vegan friendly.

After spending a full night at JFK due to flight cancellations, we found this lovely place in a sweet neighborhood, and it was perfect to rejuvenate us both with great food, coffee, and company!
