I'll warrant, the bagels are good, although the rest of the food is only so-so and way overpriced. The primary reason for my one-star review, however, is that the staff is almost comically rude. I won't take the time to retell the half-dozen or so anecdotes I could offer about being treated poorly at this place, but suffice to say, I am always polite, patient and well-mannered when I approach the counter, and I literally never receive such treatment in kind. Miserable people who think because they're in a prime location and therefore get loads of business, they can treat customers with contempt. Tell you what, folks: this is anything but kosher.

I come here often on weekends for the omelets and bagels. Omlets seems to come with several eggs and include home fries. I judge a breakfast place by the home fries, and these are real potatoes (not hash browns) with peppers and onion. Omelets come with a bagel. Those are crunchy and chewy as they should be. The atmosphere is fine. This is not a fancy place.

I have been going to this location for years. I would go more often but service is poor. Workers never smile and they are very curt abrupt and short. Don’t want to start off my mornings with negativity.The bagels are fresh and good but they suffer from all the same things that other Long Island bagels establishments suffer from: expensive. Customers are accustomed to expensive bagels. Quite frankly I would take my business elsewhere but bagels are expensive wherever you go in the area.If you don’t mind the drive…. Country Hot Bagels in Northport has the best bagels.

Never going back. No customers on the line behind me, I counted 11 workers in black T-shirts, four of them dancing, OK. Five minutes later still nobody asked me if I’m being helped so I left and I’m never going back

No one has better light vegetable tuna salad than Bagel Boss. I just wish it didn't cost as much as an ounce of gold. Lol. Their food and staff is always above par!!

I have been coming to this bagel store for years. Just had an awful experience...I came in and bought 4 bagels and asked to try their dill tuna as I like it but sometimes when I buy it, it doesn't taste fresh. When I asked the guy he said "NO" in a very rude way. Then he told me that it's a "Kosher Store and we cannot let you taste. I told him that they always let me try it, paid him for the bagels and left. Sorry Bagel Bos but rude customer service and $2.50 a bagel will never make me step foot there again. Good luck, I'd rather go to ibagel in Roslyn or Bagel & Co. In Fresh Meadows.
