One of our favorites on Long Island. My in-laws have been coming here once a week for the last 20 years and I am so glad they introduced me to it. Excited to keep the tradition going. Never have I ever had a bad meal here. Let me add the fact that I do take out and drive at least 10 minutes before eating my food and it is still delicious. Reheated the next day is never a disappointment either.
Adding my opinion on a special I ordered TO GO!! Again, at least 10 minutes before eating. A fish baked in parchment paper. Ordered it to go 2 times. DELICIOUS.
When I spend money at a restaurant I pay attention to things. They stand out. Consistency of food/quality, taste, customer service (a smile and eye contact is enough!), and overall welcoming atmosphere. The entire chicken kebab team have always been, and continue to be, kind, hospitable and respectful towards myself and my family. A dinner at the restaurant or to go is a sure shot.
DONT FORGET TO TIP ON TO GO ORDERS. JUST SAYIN’

This place is overrated and anyone who says differently has no experienced palate. For $30.96 I could’ve gotten an excellent meal somewhere else instead of this weak lamb kebab over rice and frozen peas.
I have been going to this place for literally decades … since it was just a small little storefront. While the food is great, but the prices just keep going up and up — and the portions keep getting smaller. I went in tonight for a takeout order … two large soups, spinach pie, salad. The place would not give me a piece of bread to go with my soup. They always used to give bread in the past — but they told us their new policy is that we only get bread if we get a topping on our salad — which is silly because I ordered over $40 worth of food. I hope that one piece of bread was worth this less-than-stellar review.

This place is a true hidden gem tucked away on the north shore. I must say I've ordered take out from them countless times maybe 50? The food has always been really good but just recently I ate in the restaurant and the food was absolutely incredible. This is greek comfort food at its finest! The service is very good the people are very nice and the value is incredible. I cant say enough great things about this spot. FYI the burger is very good. The saganaki appetizer is delicious and the baklava dessert was so good! No you do not need to go to the fancy expensive North Shore restaurants, you need to go here!
