Shared an experience at this beautiful establishment on Valentine’s Day, and I will say I normally shy away from making reviews but the experience I had the I had today was one for the books. The ambience was nice, clean and service was fast. My waiter, I believe Jon was his name, was very amicable and provided excellent customer service to say the least. Very courteous to my partner and I and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who has not yet been there. P.S the food is immaculate, and well portioned. If you are looking to have a great meal, and not break the bank, this is a place I would 100% recommend.

Celebrated a friend’s birthday with about 12 people. Jonathan was extremely helpful in setting up the reservation & accommodating our requests. Our server John was great! We were well attended & never felt rushed. Jonathan added his wonderful voice to our singing of Happy Birthday. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Came here for my friend’s birthday. Excellent service and great food & drinks. Our waiter Jon exceeded expectations and was attentive. The steak sandwich, french onion soup and the sautéed chicken were my fav!

A group of 15 of us were just at Mim’s earlier today for brunch. It was not too busy when we got there and we were given amazing fast service. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. The mimosas were excellent, they actually served orange juice on the side per our request which most places will not do for a brunch service. The food was delicious, will definitely be back there again!

We had a great time here yesterday. Came in for a few drinks to enjoy the snow day and ended up having dinner at the bar. The bartender even let us sample some new cocktails they were testing out for the winter menu. I don't know, maybe others just saw an off night because we had nothing to complain about. Bartender DID tell us no new owners, just some new changes that they were trying to incorporate based on customer requests. I think they're going a long way to make you happy. Def give them a shot.
Had a wonderful dinner at Mims last night. We were a party of 15 people. A New Years Friends dinner. Jonathan the manager was pleasant and helpful making the reservation and checked on our party to make sure everything was okay multiple times during the night. Our waiter Ray was spot on. Very friendly and very attentive. We were never rushed. Enjoyed the food, the drinks and had a great time. Definitely recommend.

Have been a Mim's patron for many years. But that ends as a result of our extremely disappointing dining experience last evening. Simply- rude hostess, mediocre food all around (4 people), food was either under cooked or without taste. One meal came out with wrong vegetables. Lastly prices were 40% higher than I recall......$28 hamburger that was so un-impressive & a $12 beer. Won't be back. So sad that the new owners couldn't make it work.

This place FELL OFF!!!! It’s not being managed well at all. The staff are scatterbrained and understaffed. They used to be so good and I used to go there regularly and now I’m done. It’s a hot mess:

Lovely night at Mim's. The cowboy steak and sole were both very good. Our server Ray was excellent. He really wants his customers to have a great experience, and goes out of his way to make sure they do.

MIM's has. always been a great place to reconnect with friends and we have visited several times as well as hosted large group celebrations in the restaurant . However, this last visit was quite disappointing and the service and food did not match our previous experiences. Although, the restaurant was not busy on a Friday nite the service was poor and inattentive. The steak had to be sent back to be cooked as requested by one guest while one of the guests just ate an overdone medium that was tough. It took three requests for the waiter to bring a second soda . The apple dessert was supposed to be served warm -- it was not, and although we requested coffee to be served with dessert, it took over 10 minutes for it to arrive after the desert had been finished (ice cream on top was melting). One person ordered a cappuccino which came cold. He sent it back without ordering another since my guest was so frustrated with his meal and just wanted to leave. An unfortunate experience not reflecting our previous visits. We hope it was an aberration.
The service from Ray was superb. The food was great. My husband and I really enjoyed the experience. We will be back.
I recently visited Mims restaurant and had the pleasure of being served by an exceptional team member who just happened to be the manager. What struck me was his effortless charm and charisma - he made our dining experience truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, he was attentive, warm, and knowledgeable about the menu. His service was top-notch, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. What impressed me most was his ability to balance being friendly and professional at the same time. If the rest of the staff is as talented and dedicated as he is, I'd definitely be back for more. Christopher will keep you coming back time and time again.

Hands down the worst experience i’ve had at a restaurant. I came with a large party about a week ago with a reservation. Despite this, we still waited 45 minutes to be seated. Then, we had to tolerate another 30 minutes waiting for a server. Ridiculous. I asked our young server why there was such a delay on everyone’s orders and they told me they’re extremely short staffed. I made a joke about them at least getting the large party tip, to which my server explained they don’t receive the tip. I was truly appalled. If that was my child, I would have them quit immediately. During our conversation I was shocked to find out these kids hardly get shift meals and have people being let go/quitting left and right due to new management. Unbelievable. I used to love this place and have been coming for years. I will NOT be returning. Unbelievable. Take your money elsewhere!!

I was horrified by the way we were treated. From the minute we walked in, we were treated like the hostess was doing us a favor by seating us (yes, we had a reservation and we were on time). We were seated in the dining room to the side, behind the bathrooms. The dining area was so cold we had our winter jackets on. Bread came out right away. Great. Waited 15 minutes and still no server arrived. Spoke with the hostess which was when she sent over a busboy to help us. Not even a waiter. The kid had no idea what he was doing but was trying hard. We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Appetizer came out, kids drinks arrived glasses half full and one bar drink that was completely wrong. Waited another 20 minutes and our second cocktail never arrived and waiter was nowhere to be found. When confronted requesting our check so we could go somewhere else and have dinner, considering we had 4 children with us who at this point were starving, busboy/waiter said no problem. Waited another 10 minutes and no check in sight. Absolutely horrendous service. All we wanted was a nice dinner to close out 2025.
