I have been coming to mims for years and the food is always consistently good. My friend and I both ordered the ribeye. It was a long wait, but it was delicious! The atmosphere is pleasing and the waitstaff is pleasant.
The restaurant is overpriced and serves very small portions. It tries to compete with high-end dining but falls short in both quality and portion size, especially given the high prices. For example, a salad with a hanger steak add-on cost $17 but came with only a few small pieces of meat. The ahi tuna dish was $39, yet the portion was minimal, with the rice served more as a garnish than a side. While the flavors were good, the portions left me hungry. I hadn't visited in nearly three years, and after this experience, I don't plan to return anytime soon. Fortunately, Roslyn has many other restaurants that deliver both value and generous portions.
All was nice but fire alarm went off and a bit disconcerting as it freaked out one of our party.
The three of us enjoyed our meals very much. My sister had the eggplant parmesan, my wife had a pasta salad, and I had chicken marsala. The portions were large. The wait staff were polite and helpful. Comfortable seating.
The service was painfully slow. I thought the prices were excessive for the quality of my meal.
There were so many negative aspects to our (very overpriced) dinner at Mim's. First we were taken to a table located where everyone passing by would bump into us. Fortunately we were able to get a different table. I ordered a glass of Prosecco, served in a red wine glass. I mentioned that usually Prosecco is served in a Champagne glass; the server replied that they were "all out" of Champagne glasses. There went the bubbles. A small basket of dense inedible bread, served with the worst hummus ever. I ordered the cedar planked salmon. Anyone can cook salmon, right? Wrong! The mustard sauce was sickeningly sweetened. The piece of salmon was undersized for $39. The brussels sprouts (I usually love brussels sprouts) were inedible. I can't imagine what was done to them to make them mushy, mealy, tough, and a bit nauseating. Then there's the issue with the naming of dishes on the menu. Someone thought they were being brilliantly clever, but in reality the dishes must have been named by a 7th grader. Example: The vegie burger is called "No Moo For You." You can't really know what's in the dish by its title. Wait staff was not cordial. Need I say more? Doubt we will ever return.
The prices have gone up tremendously .. The food is good but not great. I've been dining here for many years and I will not return .
Service was not up to par ... very slow in ordering and getting our meals but this was an unusual busy night for them
I ate here this evening and I’m very disappointed. I come here a lot and I look forward to seeing my favorite bartenders and both are gone. Never seen somehwere go to through bartenders this much. The prices 4x in price which is outrageous same prices as poll brother restaurants and I asked for two things on the menu and they were out on a TUESDAY. $28 burger ridiculous

Had a good time at this place on a Sunday mid afternoon. Started with a caesar salad that was very good. My food was ok but I was trying something different and probably just don’t like it but on the other hand my wife had some chicken dish that was great. The service was good and so was the bread and hummus spread that came with it. This place a bit upscale with a small parking lot but if your in need of a place to eat go check it out.

We live in the neighborhood and love Mim's and try to dine here as much as we can. It's usually a very satisfying experience. This last visit was on a Monday night. It was very quiet and just a few patrons. Service time (beginning to end) was overall too long and our food could have been better. But it's understandable... we will visit again.
This is a great restaurant. I don't go out to eat that much so I appreciate a place with great ambiance as well as great food. Mom's checks the box for this. The food never disappoints. We started with the cauliflower that is so good and we ordered the flatbread with Brie, walnuts and raspberries. Delicious. Never had it before so we tried it. We ordered a main course after but honestly we were full after the appetizers because it was a lot for 2 people. My friend just got their soup of the day and she enjoyed it and I ordered a burger and fries which was delicious but I couldn't finish it so took it home.
Excellent meal - one of the best hamburgers I have ever had. Great service. Unfortunately they had a new menu and some of our favorite dishes are no longer available.
It's gone down hill. It used to be good. The valet parking is still great.
