Outstanding. A tough foursome to please, we left having had an incredible experience at Mim's in Roslyn. The food was fabulous. From the baked clams to the pork chop to the pasta special and fresh baked dessert, everything was cooked to a turn. Juan was our server and we couldn't have been more pleased. Service with a smile from the moment we sat down throughout the meal. We can't wait to go back. We loved it all and recommend it highly. Make a reservation or you'll miss the experience.

Mim's is a gem in our neighborhood. Welcoming and cozy, but elegant and good for special occasions. Food is great. Never disappoints. Calamari fritti is great, salads are fresh and varied. I have had the filet mignon and it is always cooked right. Good for group dinners or romantic dates. It is always a good choice. We will keep coming back.

Love Mim's, Always greeted with a warm smile. Delicious drinks and always pleasant servers. The Double cut Pork Chops is one of my favorite items on the Menu. There isn't anything on the menu that I've tried and didn't like. I look forward to going back soon.

A Tuesday night at Mim's was delightful. Our reservation was on time. Excellent service, our server, Evangelos was always attentive throughout our meal. Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. We ordered country chicken pot pie, linguine primavera, and from the Tuesday prix-fixe menu, classic caesar salad, double cut pork chop and a decadent Oreo chocolate mousse cake; Everything was perfectly prepared.

I didn't know about Mim's Prix Fix menu on Tuesdays and it was a great find, I'll certinally do it again. I'll also go back on days that have no special menus. Mims is casual, everything I've ordered is cooked to perfection and the choices are widly varied.

I ordered the pretzel and brie cheese appetizer. It was excellent. The pretzel came with a fig sauce and was a perfect match. For my main course, I got the breaded tuna fish. It had a nice soft texture and the sauce was very flavorful. The service was fast and the decor was relaxing. The server gave us some free bread. I also got the banana pudding and the chocolate brownie desserts. Both of them were incredible, but my favorite out of the two was the banana pudding. I highly recommend this restaurant. 5/5
The service was on point and the food was spectacular from the freshly baked soft bread , to the pretzel's filling, to the tuna and dessert- everything was delicious and memorable- will definitely come back again .
I was not impressed. I ordered the ravioli special, it was under cooked and had no taste. Restaurante is very over priced, and I will not be going back!

Inviting atmosphere. Elegant service. A menu with lots of your favorites and some new enticing ones too. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed the friendly and no rush vibe. The wine selections were superior to most. A classic dining experience.

My husband, daughter and I dined at Mim's last night. Service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a decidedly low-key atmosphere, wooden tables and booths, not much ambience and noisy. Decidedly NOT elegant, as the pictures seem to imply. We were all fine with all of that until the food came out. We had the crab cakes which were fine. The entrees, however, seemed like very bad home cooking. My husband had the pasta with chicken and sun-dried tomatoes which had very little flavor. Then to the sole oreganata, which was had by my daughter. A very large portion was served, but again there was almost no seasoning on either the sole or the pasta. Finally, I had the lobster ravioli which had not the faintest flavor of lobster! I doubt that there was any, and the small shrimp in the dish seemed previously boiled and had very little flavor at all. We were so disappointed. The best thing I can say about the restaurant was that the portions were huge. Nevertheless, we took nothing home.
