Would be helpful if it indicated on google maps that Roslyn Heights location is permanently closed. Drove for nothing.

One of the better Persian food restaurants. Tastes pretty close to homemade.

Ravagh Persian Grill is a nice small restaurant in Roslyn. The interior is very nice and is family friendly. Disclaimer: although the food is halal, they do still have alcohol being served. We ordered the combination kabob and beef koobideh kabob, both of which were served with a side of rice. The kabobs served here are succulent and juicy. Overall, Ravagh offers very high quality meats. The service is amazing, with the staff and manager being super friendly and helpful.

My most favorite place to eat dinner. Affordable yummy and big portions. The only thing I have to say is they changed their feta for some reason for their salad and it’s not as good as it used to be. Change it back!!! I go twice a week their sambusach is amazing and chicken shish. Love their Mediterranean chopped salad but not with this new feta they brought in. If you’re looking for a yummy place to eat this is the one. And staff is so nice also.

Every time I order a combination I have to argue with them that I DO NOT want a green rice Tahdig because I’m allergic to it and I want a white rice tahdig instead! yet they still sent me green rice tahdig! How hard is it to fallow your customer request??!?!? I hope management does something about this!!!

Ravagh is a family friendly restaurant. We went there around 9pm and the restaurant was almost full and more people were coming in at that time on a summer Tuesday.
When we arrived, we got a basket of pita with sauces. We ordered a side of hummus before our entrees which could have been better. We were almost getting full but went ahead and ordered our entrees.
We ordered the following
Chicken Sultani kabaob,
Chicken sultani kabobs comes with dark meat and minced meat kabob which were quite tender. Rice was fluffy. 8/10

Dark meat chicken kabob
Same with dark meat and fluffy rice. 7/10

Salmon kabob:
Salmon was flavorful and comes with dill rice. 7.5/10

Koobideh kabob.
Koobideh was in between hard and chewy. Dill rice is okay. Not upto the mark. 6/10

Portion sizes are huge so be aware of how many plates you'd like to eat. Bit overpriced and above $23 for each plate. Quality is good. Would visit sometime again.

If I was able to give a 0, I would. I went out for a family dinner yesterday night and asked our waitress (she had dark red hair) THREE times to make sure there weren’t any nuts in our food and she assured us every time that there was nothing there. I come home and my father’s face is swelling up, he has hives, he can’t feel his extremities, and his throat is closing up. Ended up taking him to the ER and finding out from the doctors that he had an allergic reaction to pistachios that he ate.

I don’t know if it was because we came in 45 minutes before closing but it’s absolutely unacceptable that this happened. If the owner cared an ounce about the reputation of his restaurant, he would fix this; because of his staff’s incompetency, my father’s health and safety was put in danger.

Every single time I visited here the food has been great. I love the grilled chicken and the shrimp salad that they have. It is amazing. I recommend you guys try it. They also have tasty sides as well. My wife and I went here and we had a romantic evening. The seating is very comfortable, and the place itself is big so finding a table was very easy, no wait.

Food was excellent along with service despite being a busy Sunday night. Though packed they turned the tables quickly so we only waited a few minutes despite a full dining room. Lamb chops were perfectly cooked. Complimentary bread at the beginning was fresh.
