Outstanding food and service. We enjoyed the entire experience. Food was exceptional as the salad had many different flavors and textures. We enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana and veal parmigiana that we each had with spaghetti. The dessert that we shared of chocolate mousse was amazing as we enjoyed each bite. In addition, the wine with the meal and the green teas were delicious as well. I highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

The food was good. The zucchini linguini I had was a little undercooked but I wasn't feeling well so I didn't care so much to comment at the time. My party had of 8 did not have any complaints.

Trattoria DiMeo is a delightful and unique dining experience everyone should have the pleasure of enjoying. The food is excellent, and you will not find their signature takes on traditional dishes anywhere else. In addition, they have in-house creations (for example, their version of Zucchini soup and cocktails) that are phenomenal. The Owner and Staff are truly welcoming, professional and attentive. We were so engaged with our dinner and guests, that we failed to realize we were the last diners in the restaurant. The Staff were respectful and patient, and we were never rushed or reminded that it was essentially "after-hours". I give this restaurant my highest recommendation and look forward to future dining experiences and events with them.

I dine hear very often and never fail to have a wonderful experience. The excellent food, the warm greeting from the staff, the ambience of the surroundings make for an always pleasurable evening out. We are treated like "members of the family" whenever we show up. Dimeo's is close to home which contributes to the intimacy we feel whenever we show up. We always get the feeling that the owner, the staff, and the servers are genuinely happy to see us around!.

We were rushed in and out so it wasn't as relaxing as we would have liked. Food delicious.

DeMeo's is a cut above the typical neighborhood Long Island Italian restaurant. It has a broad menu of the traditional Italian dishes but always has several specials that go outside the bounds of pure Italian. Listen carefully to the night's choices. Bread and focaccia are brought quickly and the olive oil on the table is not peppery but relatively mild. A few olives and pieces of cheese are also complimentary. I often have fried zucchini at other Italian restaurants (or even Bryant and Cooper) but not here; way too thin to even identify as zucchini. Main courses are large and I always seem to have a second dinner of leftovers. Servers are very careful with packing to avoid leaks (something not all restaurants care about. I haven't been here on a weekend or holiday but I can imagine if full the tables are a bit too close. Getting to lavatories requires a steep climb to second floor and steps are narrow. WATCH IT. For mer, not a go to for special occasions but good food and plenty of options on a weekday night.

Had dinner on a quiet Wednesday evening. Food and drink delicious as always. Bread is out of this world! Service fabulous... as always.

Very disappointed. This WAS a very good restaurant a few years ago. Every entree was terrible as were the appetizers.

Very good food. Serice is strange— a different waiter comes over to help you for different things and it gets confusing and not what a diner wants or expects. If you ask for something and prefer some things , and tell one waiter the other waiter pretends to have no idea what you're talking about. also brough out all the food at the same time. Felt rushed to turn over the table. Are we dining or just eating ?!?!?!? All in all : Good food Bad service and Rushed

Sauce had Absolutely No Taste! Ravioli were the same. Extremely Disappointing.... We went because reviews said best sauce; I think we misread the listing. They Obviously meant, " Worst Sauce" !

We had a great evening with friends. Our reservations were honored, the service was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. We shared several appetizers - all good and nice sized portions. For entrees : several had the halibut special - yum; one had a very generous chicken cacciatore, one had veal ). We have been there numerous times and will most definitely return again.
