Here's an example of where I loved my dinner and my hubby was disappointed. We shared beet croquettes and lotus chips which were FABULOUS! My dinner was branzino which was so delicious I could have licked the plate. Hubby had the steak, which had a hard membrane through it that he had to work around, and the potato hasselback was under cooked and hard. Oh well. For a Saturday night it was surprisingly empty, only 1 other couple eating there. It is a pleasant, modern and clean looking restaurant in the hotel. Parking in the back, and you could easily drive by the entrance. First time there, interesting that there is a small music venue (My Father's Place) in the hotel as well. Good to know for a future date night!

Excellent first experience, we'll be back! Discovered this little hidden gem in the basement of a hotel during LI Restaurant Week. Who knew? The food was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful! The waiter was friendly and attentive, and even gave me a special treat for my birthday ?. Cannot wait to try it again on a Wed when they offer live music & 1/2 price cocktails! Atmosphere is also very nice, beautifully decorated.

We enjoyed the mushroom flatbread and salad. The chocolate dessert was heated. Too hot and almost burned me. The Kung pow chicken appetizer was nothing special. The way it was extremely nice and they had good food selections.

It was disappointing. The deco of the restaurant is nothing like what the pictures looked liked on the website. When booking, we were not told that they were not serving their regular menu since there was an event across the restaurant. They were only going to serve burgers and fries....we were about to leave but the waiter informed us that the Chef will serve us from their regular menu but limited. Food was decent. The restaurant is located in the basement of this old hotel that just got acquired by Hilton, I would thought they would have spent some money to update it! Very disappointing!
We enjoyed our dinner here. Small menu but everything we ordered we enjoyed. Our servers Dhanish and Sunrata were very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable regarding the menu. I would go back and recommend to my friends.

Weird we were only ones in restaurant for long while on Friday night, I gather because in hotel. Food actually was pretty good and staff obviously very attentive and kind. We were almost ready to walk out initially but ended up with pleasant experience .

Staff is so nice but food is not good at all. Low quality ingredients (ie tuna not sushi grade, etc). And prices are very high. Great location and ambiance. Wish they could get the food right. Won't come back unless food quality changes dramatically.

Unaccompdatong and did not honor the restaurant week menu they posted even when asked for the Mgr the Mgr said no to offering the restaurant week menu that their website had published and LI week had published. Horrible customer svc by a restaurant that's supposed to be upscale Will never recommend

Drinks good. Service Decent. Food- very disappointing and instead of up charging me for a dinner item because they were originally out of the lunch smashburger - they charged me separate on everything..which is unacceptable. What was unbearable is that I overpaid for mediocre if not less than mediocre chicken marsala, reheated mashed potatoes, and a few vegetables most likely frozen. I really was hoping to love this place, but clearly my expectations were nothing short of a pipe dream.

Beautiful, elegant restaurant with outstanding service. I brought my best friend for a special occasion. I spoke with Dhanish the prior day to be certain that the breakfast menu would not be too fussy. Abdul waited on us and made suggestions that Were delicious. Abdul treated us like royalty with outstanding attention. The food was delicious and the presentation was lovely. And you can wear whatever is comfortable!

The Cellar comedy club is a great venu.. 3 great comedians opened last night for our favorite stand up comic, Fred Rubino. Sold out crowd was into it all night. Good food and service.
Waited 1 and 1/2 hour for an appetizer only to be told they don't have it. By the time we had a substitute, dinner was served at the same time and the food was just horrible in taste and presentation. Definitely will not ever go back. Not worth it. We would have had a much enjoyable dining experience at McDonald.

Had a great dinner. Restaurant wasn't crowded and we were able to have a conversation. Food was very good ... two ordered chicken Milanese, one branzino, and one shrimp dinner. Nice size portions. Service was very good! Didn't realize it was located in The Roslyn Hotel. Very enjoyable experience.
