Been shopping at Basari for quite some time now. I like to experience a place for some time prior to leaving a review.Basari has proven themselves! The meat is prime quality kosher meat. Tender and delicious! Their chicken is hormone free from Canada and believe me, you can taste the difference!Their head butcher will come out and cut your meat to order! Amazing service!I have even tried their house made Jerky and sausages. Really excellent!I frequently cook for people who do not keep kosher and they cannot believe how good the foods are! Some have actually asked me where I get my meats from!Try Basari, you will be glad you did!

We have had some terrible experiences with Basari. The meat has not been fresh on several occasions. Recently we bought foul smelling expired meat. We are also not pleased with their wings and find they have feathers coming out of them. Also, their thanksgiving Turkey arrived with no skin and the response we got was that’s how all the turkeys came in. It was embarrassing to put out. . It’s unfortunate because my family was looking forward to having a l butcher so close to home. Hopefully they will improve quality of meats in time so that we can try them again.

Basari Market never disappoints. I am always happy with everything I order, from the 3 foot heros, to the charcuterie boards to the raw meats. Abie is always so helpful with cooking suggestions and recipes. A great addition to Roslyn and the surrounding area. The best part- they deliver!

So excited to have found Basari market. Highest praise for their clean, attractive shop, helpfulness, but most of all first quality product and delicious, beautifully cut meats. Wowed guests over holiday weekend with sublime rack of lamb and bbq sliders, and the best nitrite free jumbo knackwurst anyone ever had. Can’t wait to return!

Worst place I ever been of all the places I worked before. I’ve never been on a place with disorganized, not a good communication with the manager, he expected me to know everything on 1 training day. The guy don’t understand when ever someone starts working on a new place, it’s a new environment, different items, & different working style!
