This was our second time back to Gatsby's Landing - Roslyn. We were excited to share the place with the rest of our family, and chose the patio as the weather was warm enough and we thought it would be pretty. Unfortunately, we were seated almost in the parking lot, behind a bush with no view of the pretty pond. We requested to move and were reassigned to the other end of the patio where the table is squished under a bougainvillea and you had to be careful not to hit your head on it. The fencing was littered with spiders webs - not cleaned at all, and we had to request the table cloth was changed as it was covered in chocolate sauce(?) on one side. Our food was disappointing. Lamb chops - 1 of the 3 was served well done when medium rare was requested. Steak was tough and chewy. We did provide feedback and the manager was less than happy. He made the experience uncomfortable. Our waiter did his best to make it a little less uncomfortable as he was embarrassed by the Managers behavior towards us. A celebration meal became memorable for the wrong reasons.

Outside area not covered by awning...great atmosphere on pond but too sunny to eat there. Garden salad extremely bland. Hamgurger sliders just average and not very tasty. Bathroom toilet did not work.

The ambience was so warm & romantic. The staff & manager were incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was phenomenal & exceeded our expectations! Overall, a wonderful evening ! Looking forward to our next visit!

We were able to eat outside on a beautiful summer evening. Beautiful setting however the seats outside we're pretty uncomfortable. Food was great service was excellent. Highly recommend it. I only give it four stars because the outside chairs were uncomfortable. Otherwise it's a five.

I never would've discovered this hidden gem if I hadn't been searching for the perfect waterfront spot to celebrate my mother's birthday. From the moment you step inside, the charm of 1920s Long Island North Shore comes alive. The bar and indoor dining area are lovely, but the real showstopper is the deck overlooking Roslyn Pond — so serene it feels like the Hamptons, yet only a mile from Northern Blvd. We were greeted and seated immediately, and our server struck the perfect balance of kindness, humor, and impeccable timing. The drinks were spot-on (highly recommend the “F. Scott's Old Sport”), and the food was outstanding — the branzino with fennel purée was the best I've ever had, and my mother's mushroom-filled ravioli special looked incredible. Dessert was a triumph: easily one of the top two crème brûlées I've ever tasted. I can't wait to return to this truly special place.

We had a delightful meal outside overlooking the pond. Our server, Natalie, was excellent. The only problem with the food was that there was so much! Very generous servings. We also had a nice visit from the manager, Darren. We had had family Thanksgiving at Gatsby's last year, and they did a great job. So highly recommended indoors or out.

Quaint lovely setting by a pond, small intimate and good service. Not too noisy. Food good lots of choices. We had small plates salads and appetizers, hubby had salmon. All food was quite good. Would recommend especially for couples.
