After months of kosher sushi in Israel when my friends chose this place for lunch I couldn't refuse and the staff was obviously experienced with "kosher-style" orders, meaning no shellfish, eel, or non-kosher fish in mixed platters of sushi, sashimi, and some special rolls. Miso soup and carrot-ginger dressed salad starters were pretty standard but all the mains were outstanding. My friends ordered and I was too engrossed in conversation to convey the names of...

Authentic Japanese food. Best dish is the beef sukiyaki; also good is the sashimi deluxe platter. Always get the hot green tea with the meal. Good selection of sake and some Japanese beers. It gets crowded quickly after opening for the dinner service. I have only been to the Roslyn location.
