I work in the area and have been here several times - mostly for takeout but also a few times to dine-in and I love the food here but the customer service is really hit and miss. Sometimes whoever is working is friendly (over the phone or in-person) and other times I debate whether I should come back.
I wish the reviews were wrong about the staff but it’s true. I’m all here for giving the benefit of the doubt because having a bad day happens but this is more times than not, and this is the case if it’s busy or slow. Great food, but the front facing service is unpleasantly lacking.

I order pizza with sausage, was the worst I had. The tomato sauce was watery had no taste and mozzarella cheese was not authentic. The crust on the pizza was tasteless. To say it is an Italian restaurant is beyond me. This was the first time I visited this establishment and will be the last. As a business owner and traveler, the waiter did not seem friendly and never approached if everything was good. I left a tip above 15% and they did not say thank you. I had to go to the register to pay and ask for my bill. I will stay with authentic Italian restaurants in New York City in Little Italy. If I can give a zero for the food , I would.

Service was terrible! I was doing an Uber eats order for 2 separate orders and I saw one of my orders was ready so I asked them to pick it up and they said wait for the other one and brought me to a place to wait. After that I waited 15 minutes and I didn’t want the Uber eats customers to get a late order so I went back and it was ready the whole time. So I asked the big guy that told me to go away , why didn’t you tell me it was ready . He responded with an attitude and harsh words and said I should’ve came back and checked myself . KEEP IN MIND he wouldn’t let me pick up the first order without the second one being ready . He wasted my time and the time of the customers. Horrible customer service never order Uber eats or DoorDash from here.

My husband and I love this place! He usually gets a panini and I love their salads. The atmosphere is nice and the service is very good. Our favorite waiter is Kevin. However, all of the waiters and waitresses are nice. Highly recommend this place.

Food taste was good but everything came out slow. We could see our food staged from kitchen and just sit. We asked for a dessert menu, never got one so asked for check. Never received one item we ordered.

Dirty restaurant. Five out of seven workers were eating meals (lunch break? ) while customers were waiting for their orders. Both of our Paninis were extremely greasy, 2 tablespoons of coleslaw on the side tasted moldy. Server was rude and didn't speak English so could not understand our questions.
I went years ago with my sister. Sat outside and enjoyed ourselves. Went recently and it changed for the worse. The lady who brings the bread and oil to the table did not smile nor greet me. When I said hello, thank you she barely replied and it was understood she has a language barrier. I ordered a drink and 10 mins goes by with the waiter fraternizing with a staff member by the bar area. I really did ask where's my drink and he said sorry and I got my drink. My salmon was dry. Thank God for the dressing. Read previous reviews with roaches. Wow. Didn't think an upscale area could have that.

It was my first time here and I wanted to sit down with my husband. The lady in glasses working there told us “No” we couldn’t sit down and eat because my husband ordered for pick up. I think it’s very unprofessional and rude to say that to a customer because regardless we are trying your food. Never coming back here again.
