I bought an apple tort for a New Years Eve family gathering and was very happy! The apple filling was lightly cinnamon and light without too much sugar and no jelled apple. The topping was neatly sliced apples brushed with a small layer of apple jelly. The crust was the short bread variety. Only $30. I was traveling and didn’t have time to bake so this light but tasty dessert was perfect! Worth visiting for hostess gifts! Nicely wrapped cookies, brownies, quick breads are sold...
The baked goods here are fantastic; I particularly loved the apple crumb. The staff is friendly and courteous, and their salad mixes and sandwiches are excellent. With ample seating both indoors and outdoors, it's a great place to stop for a hot drink and pastries, perfect for relaxation.
