I love coming here before going to see a show at proctor's, their Sunday brunch has some really delicious options and their regular lunch menu is also excellent! I seem to have gotten stuck in the trap of always ordering the same thing, but I love the brussel sprout salad and I can't help but order it! We always get great service, I look forward to coming back over and over! Someday I'd love to try their evening fare, but their lunch can't be beat!

This was my first time here with a friend for my birthday. Jenn was so delightful, very attentive and the sweetest server. Thank you. What an amazing experience! Beautiful decor on the inside, huge parking, food on point, drinks made to perfection. I will be returning to Maxon's Grill. 👍🏻

Sadly, I'm lowering my review of our previously loved Maxon's. You used to be able to rely on delicious, worth-every-penny food. Tonight, my party of 3 waited 2.5 hours between walking in the door, waiting to be seated and getting served food. We expect Friday night to be busy but that wait is a bit ridiculous. The food was subpar at best. My burger seemed reheated in a microwave. My son's fish fry wasn't fully fried and my salad had onions after asking for no onions. And we still paid $70 with tip for three meals. We won't be rushing back and it's a shame because it used to be our favorite place to go. 😔

I’ve been coming to Maxons for years. First their Rotterdam location and now their location on rt 50. I had such a good experience this past week that I had to come back to the bar for more. I overheard a very rude customer who lashed out on the new manager, Marc. He quickly saw himself out, likely for embarrassing himself, and I applaud Marc for not leaning into this man’s behavior. He kept his response professional and remained calm. I will definitely be back for more excellent meals/atmosphere and service :)

Went to grab wings and the sweet chili chicken sandwich to go . My son loved the sandwich. I ordered garlic parm wings and my husband got medium wings. No flavor at all or sauce . Asked for crispy and nope not at all crispy. I normally like their food but the wings this evening were really bad. With the cost of wings, they need to be really good and these were not .

Usually pretty good experience, took my nephew there last night and the host got us a seat outside. We waited while 3 other tables came in sat down and got food and drink orders before us. No one came to our table so I went inside (host was away) and asked a waitress to help. She instantly got defensive and said ”well I didn’t see you” (I didn’t think she was the one who should have) and said I’ll have to have someone come out and walked into the kitchen. I went back outside to the table and another waitress comes out a few minutes later and goes and takes a fourth tables food order all of which arrived and got seated after us. Fearful of how our food would come out and how long it would take now 4 tables behind, we left. Wasn’t even busy when we showed up.

The menu is good, not too many selections. Good parking. Service was very good but food coming out is a bit slow. Prices are a but above average but the quantity is very good. All three of us left food on our plate. I had hand cut fries with Buffalo chicken sandwich and couldn't finish the amount of nicely cut fries. Strongly suggest trying Mason's.

Roll in with low expectations, you’ll be pleased. Lord almighty, put the damn vermouth in the fridge. It’s a fortified wine, it oxidizes & spoils. Cream of mushroom soup, slightly thin however seasoned well. Salt levels were pretty close to perfect. Mac Salad was loaded with fresh veggies, and the pasta cooked to a perfect texture, unfortunately with zero salt. Clearly dressed while still too hot causing the Mayo base dressing to break and resulting in a greasy unseasoned salad. Brisket tacos, complete rubbish. Dry & rubbery brisket, lacked any seasoning or beef flavor. Inedible. Atomic hot & stone cold, I’d wager on microwave reheated. And for what it’s worth, dressed extremely lazy. Basic techniques and pride in service vacant.
