I love to see that small hometown cooking still exists. Stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious. Portions are large and food was served hot. I would highly recommend you give it a try. Open all day.
This place was a delightful surprise. I'm not from the North Country, so was unfamiliar with it. When we walked in, it was clearly mostly locals in the place and we didn't know what to expect. They had an extensive menu, and we were both very pleased with what we had. Also, because it was busy when we arrived, we sat at a long table. We had a couple of people who sat next to us who turned out to be quite friendly and that was nice too. Our waitress was good, the food...
Every Sunday they have Eggs Benedict, and its perfectly cooked every time I go. No runny white with a nice runny yolk. It's the only place I go for them. Everything is is good too, and their pies are amazing.
