Quite possibly the greatest BLT I've ever had.
I fear that I will never have the courage to order one at a different restaurant as it will never live up to the one I had here.
Also the fries were incredible

Food was AMAZING. Thank you to the chef- you could see him busting his butt in the kitchen and running food. It was very busy tonight and it appeared to me as though they were also catering a large party (out of house) and several big groups with reservations. The two ladies running tables were working hard...with soooo many things and extra requests. You could tell it had been a night for them, but still, they tended tables and did amazing! Probably understaffed on a saturday night! We will definitely come back if we are in the area again.
Oh and the fries/burgers are delicious!

Was eating breaking across the street and did a search for “best Bloody Marys nearby.” Crappies was first on the list and highly recommended. So glad we went in. Not only was the Bloody Mary off the hook, but James - the proprietor- was awesome. Super friendly, great storyteller, and we had a blast. Highly recommended! Thanks Charlie!

2nd time to Chappie’s across a five year span, absolutely love this place. The atmosphere and food are exceptional. In a town with limited food choices, this one does not disappoint!

We dined on a Thursday night in September, and the town was quiet overall. We walked in for dinner and there was one bartender/server and one person in the kitchen. We were told that there was no pizza, salmon, meatloaf or steak, so our options on the menu were limited.
We realize that there was only one person working, but the wait was egregious. We found the vibe and food to be good, but the size and cost was over the top. I can only imagine how much food waste there is, given how much was left over on our plates and everyone else around us. $15 for a vodka soda. $23+ for a burger. The spinach artichoke dip was flavorless and $16.
Overall, given we didn’t have other options in the town, this was I guess fine. But e cost was insane and the portions were far too large.
Food was plentiful and delicious. My husband had a burger and I had the Chicken Foccica sandwich with a side salad. Nice atmosphere. Service was a little slow but the place is small & there was only one server.

Sadly we waited 45 minutes before we got our food. 30 min after our son got his food. The beer that we got was expired by 9 months and had crusted on the neck. We only got 1 water bottle and was never asked for anything intil we asked for the check. We ordered 2 burgers, both were made incorrectly but still tasty and the fries were really good.
The staff were friendly and addressed all issues with care but werw unable to handle the amount of customers or orders. Hopefully over time they will get better experience.
