We, my husband and I along with a friend were in the area for a funeral. We are from Boston’s North Shore so we aren’t from around here. But it was my Birthday the next day. We like to eat out but have trouble finding gluten free, dairy free and mushroom and nut free food for me. I figured I could get a baked potato if nothing else but the Herb crusted Salmon on the menu looked so good I asked questions and decided to try it. It came with what was described as an eggplant and tomato stew in a tangy sauce. Wow! Wow! I have never had a better Birthday dinner. The Salmon was perfect, of course, but the Eggplant was what was the best. I am not a big eater but I got a box with left overs, had it for lunch the next day and I finished it today. Oh and my friends Pasta and husband’s steak was good too. Thank you all at The Old Mill for a perfect evening. Thank you to the cook for serving me a gourmet meal in spite of my allergies.

In town for the weekend, my Aunt & Uncle took us last night! Kevin totally knocked it out of the park! Great drinks to start. The Short Ribs, Bucatini and Calamari and the toffee pudding were to die for! The chicken liver patte was delicious too! WE loved with the French pressed coffee.and could not say enough about the bread! ..it was soooooo good! Loved the ambiance of an old barn. Service was spectacular! We will definitely be back soon.
