Been here many times tried to give them a chance even after being disappointed ..It is convenient n beautiful ..This place just got Sold again… n down hill they are going .wth this new management .. What a shame such a good location wth parking , BUT poor Management ..We have had an issue every time with the Menu and we still have returned .. they have not had Beer ! ,then no Proceco ! .. fruit flies in my drink prob in the ice .. just took them out …MENU has options that are NOT available no Short ribs …no Thursday Prime rib special ..as well as multiple other thgs that are Listed so we decided to ask wat do u have ? We were told Pork Chopsss we had no choice so took and it was one small pork chop .. no chopssss which menu stated ..cook apologized as well as very nice servers .they are so sweet an attentive . they were confused as well they needed to ask the cook each time if what we choose was available …they are frustrated as well …we don’t let our disappointment reflect the tip we appreciated them well …n … After this last experience I probably would not return unless there was a change .. we were told menu needs to be changed it hasn’t been done . I hope things change there are lots of other options ..would love for this place to be as packed and successful as the previous ones .. don’t let this business go down ..

Amazing food, ambience and atmosphere. A group of my friends had an early dinner. The staff was wonderful. The drinks were top tier. I had the steak. It was served perfectly. We were able to substitute some of the sides and that was awesome. The short rib was to die for. Will definitely return.

Recently had lunch and I was very pleased with the quality and preparation of the dishes. We had the calamari with a perfect fry and light batter, toasted bread was delicious. Skirt steak, salmon and shrimp dishes were all perfectly cooked to order. Vegetables were freshly prepared and delicious. I would happily return.

The place was dead for a Friday night which should have been a sign that it was going to be ok, but not steakhouse great. The seafood platter was really good and had a lot of food for 2 people but that is a good thing. We ordered two fillet mignons, 1- 10 oz and 1- 14 oz, the truffle mac and cheese along with the broccoli. The fillets were cooked perfect and tasty but they were both 10 oz. The truffle lobster mac and cheese definitely had truffle, but only 1 piece of lobster, the sauce was gritty and watered down. The broccoli, that we were told was grilled, but it was more like boiled with some salt & pepper tossed on it. The receipt said sauteed but it was not. It wasn't a bad spot, but it's not someplace I would go again, especially for a special occasion like we did last night.

We've been to American Prime about 5 times. Brought out of town guests we haven't seen in a while. Ate in the bar area which was nice and quiet. This was my restaurant choice and I was embarrassed by the food outages on the menu. Of the 3 filets ordered, none seemed to be the same quality as other Westchester Steak Houses. Servers were lovely. Restaurant was not busy.

Attended Restaurant week for dinner. The one waiter was serving 14 tables - wow, he did the best he can! The steaks were not good, fatty.. I would have gotten a better steaks at outback steak house. Very Disappointed, will not be back.

Was seated a bit out of the way. Did not feel very welcomed by the staff. The hostess that sat us was great, but after that the service left much to be desired. It felt like asking for water replenishment was a bother. For the price paid the experience was not something I would gladly pay full price for. The restaurant week prices were very steep regardless of the deal presented. The mussels had great flavor and the steak was well done! Food is not there problem per se. Service and attention to detail goes a long way and they have a lot of room for improvement.

Delicious! I had the field greens salad and my husband has the mussels with tomato sauce. The serving size of mussels was very generous. The filet was cooked to perfection, the vegetables were crisp and not full of added butter. I had the lemon cake which was light and creamy and my husband had the cheesecake. We will definitely go back! The large free parking is an added bonus!
It is located in a strip mall which made it easy to find parking. This is always a plus. The place had the feel of a steak restaurant. I loved the look and feel of the room. The NY Strip with the chimichuri sauce was delicious.

Outstanding food - an amazing Filet Mignon, one of the best I've ever had anywhere, and I've had many. Excellent New England Clam Chowder too. Service is great and an attractive interior round out a wonderful experience.

The restaurant has new ownership. The food & service was good before but has improved to a higher level . Excellent prefix three course menu at reasonable price. Great menu overall. Highly recommend for date night, a group or celebration.

I have gone to Prime a number of times. It was never busy but the food and service was always good. Like many other steak houses of its kind , it has a shelf life. Sadly most of the same family owned steak houses we go to, on the 4th or 5th time , the food quality goes down etc etc. The waiter def wasn't a season server but went above and beyond to try and make us happy. The bill is over $300 for 3 people and it was very disappointing. Another place we won't be going back to. Sadly
