I haven't been to Oko in a couple of years but my daughter wanted to try it and I was so pleased we gave it another try. The ambience and music was a 10! As my daughter said it gives off a NYC vibe inside. The hand rolls were phenomenal. The pieces were all delicious. It is expensive but inventive and delivers. I will be back. I love the front window table and thankfully have always seemed to get it.
Was our first visit to Oko and we can't wait to return! Everything was amazing...the food, service and ambiance! Our server gave us great advice about ordering, which enabled us to sample a wide variety of menu options. We tried a few crispy rice pieces, some handrolls and several of the skewers. The fish was so fresh and all the non-raw items were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!
I like this place. We sat at the bar for the second time with an excellent bartender serving us. My only criticism is that it was and is too expensive. One beer for my companion and 8 ounce saké for me. The meal, drinks and tip, $250. Now that's really too much. We will return but not for a while.
