Hours advertised noon-9pm daily. Arrived at 8:30pm on a beautiful Saturday night and the young girl working there was closing up 30 minutes early. Would be excited to visit and try the ice cream once hours are accurate.
This place is awesome for ice cream choices! We sampled the delicious toasted coconut and vanilla & chocolate flavors with a waffle cone. It was a pretty good pick. The ice cream here is top-notch with generous portions, although I did find the prices a tad high. The outdoor seating with firepits is lovely for chilling out and savoring your treat. A great spot to chat while indulging in some ice cream.

Nice little ice cream shop, surrounded by a cute little town to walk through. Good ice cream and they do accept cards.
Good ice cream and a pretty good selection of flavors.
Straders was such a great amenity in Sackets; we lived in SH while stationed at Fort Drum, and frequently made the stop for ice cream. The staff is friendly and the ice cream is delicious. We love the variety of flavors! Highly recommend.
It’s not the shop you must see to wake an inner child with in, but the whole experience of walking tranquil streets of the Sakets Harbor Town. The ice-cream stand with its little chairs is an add on bonus, thou ice-cream was delish, and portions are way over generous. Come late the evening to enjoy Sunset. I was bless by nice weather and absence of damn self-proclaimed “ influencers.
Quality cream yo
Strader’s Saturdays Sundaes and More is the accurate name of this adorable ice cream shop. We travel full time in our fifth wheel and drive 30 minutes to see Sackets Harbor - a cute town with lots of history btw - and found this ice cream shop. Creamy, refreshing ice cream. I had the Mint Ting-a-Ling ice cream and my husband had the maple walnut ice cream. Both were excellent. The shop is owned by great people operating a wonderful local respite on a hot day. We support local businesses whenever we travel. If you find yourself within 30 minutes of Strader’s it is so worth the drive. And Sackets Harbor is cute too. The name of the shop in Trip Advisor needs to be updated.
Ordered a single scoop ice cream cone, they still managed to screw the order up, but the ice cream was delicious and the workers friendly.
