“The Barracks Inn hosted the Sackets Harbor prom in May 2022, and it was an amazing experience for all! Kim was so easy to work with, and she went above and beyond to make the night special for our students. When I asked them what they enjoyed most, they replied: - The view of the water was beautiful. - The sunset was amazing. The space, itself, was great because it allowed us to move around and dance, but then we could move to a different space and a have conversation. - Dessert was delicious! The boba was amazing! Thanks you again for making prom so much fun for our students!”

“Pennocks has been a staple for our annual family trip to the cottage. They have many flavors and are friendly. As a PSA, bring cash. This is a small seasonal business and they do not take cards. The Dollar General across the street is a good place to get cash if needed. Support this wonderful local business! Great people, great ice cream.”

“Cut it close with the last 4 sub rolls on a Tuesday 7pm visit, so caution there, It would be nice to have packets of Oil & Vinegar along with the Mayonnaise, ans/ or Italian dressing. It's nice to take a dry sub on an excursion and add toppings at time of eating so the bread isn't soggy.

“We visited Saturday evening for a birthday dinner with a party of 7! The food was amazing and our waiter was very accommodating and all his recommendations were spot on. We all tried something different so we could share our plates. The salmon dinner and the shrimp scampi was my favorite! The calamari with the roasted peppers was amazing. “Had a great breakfast at Cherry Tree Inn. It was packed on a Sunday morning; lucky for me I was dining solo and could eat at the counter. Had a great pancake and eggs breakfast cooked perfectly. My coffee cup was never empty. Price was reasonable ($13.50 plus tip) considering what restaurants are charging now. I probably will be back again tomorrow for breakfast.”
