“Happen to come across this hidden gem while in town to ice fish. Went out of our way to stop for breakfast on our way back home. Breakfast pockets are flaky and absolutely delicious. Muffins, giant cookies, and Bundt cakes are out of this world! Oh and the coffee is perfect.”

“My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Barracks Inn on June 10th, 2023 and everything was extraordinary! When I say "everything" and "extraordinary", I sincerely mean it. From the beginning of the months of planning, to the big day, it was a pleasure and a blessing to work with Kim! The communication was superb and the choices of packages were abundant. She was able to offer food and service options that, not only were fantastic for our guests, but fit our targeted budget. The décor was beautiful inside and outside! The food was absolutely fantastic! The service (including her family team) was outstanding! I even changed the cake cutting from being held inside to having it out on the dock at the last second, and it all just happened so quickly and seamlessly! The cake, knife, photographer, and all appeared before me on the dock with the backdrop of beautiful Lake Ontario :) I highly recommend anybody who is planning any sort of special event to reach out to Kim at The Barracks Inn. I could not have asked for a better day, or better experience. Thank you to Kim and her family for making my wedding day so special and joyful!”

“I love how you can watch them make your food in front of you. Cassandra was friendly, wore gloves, and her hair was covered. The counters were clear of debris and were not cluttered. She was patient while I looked over the food choices. Will definitely be returning.”

“First, it is a diner. It has cute diner atmosphere. Good food, decent selection, great bullhead fry in season. Great breading on the fish fry, which is the 'make-or-break' for that dish. Desserts are also a decent size. One note- coffee is weak (Jan.2024).”

“My favorite dishes weren’t as delicious as they usually are. Still good but pizza was undercooked and bruschetta (their version is my absolute favorite) not as tasty. Service was outstanding as always. It’s still my favorite restaurant in Sackets and I’ll definitely return because 90% of the time, it’s 5 stars. No one can be ‘A game’ every day, especially in winter.”

“This place is great! The seasonal drink selection is amazing (pictured is their homemade red velvet latte ?).The eggs Benedict is amazing and their honey French toast is delicious! The menu has new specials every week that are always creative and delicious. The place is a breath of fresh air for a small rural town.The only thing I have had there and didn't 100% love were the home fries (a bit greasy) but everything else is so amazing it hardly even matters.I love this place and encourage everyone to support them!”

“They are the only place that carries my wife’s favorite ice cream, Queen of Hearts. (I like it too). Their soft serve is also great! It’s not the closest ice cream place but we will go there just for Queen of Hearts, and to change things up.”

“Nonna Dina is a hidden gem. It's the best pizza in the area...I think it's the sauce. Also try the garlic cheese bread and canolllis! Usually get take out but they do have a couple tables for seating. Great prices.They don't deliver but you can order take out using the "Slice" app.”

“Had a great breakfast at Cherry Tree Inn. It was packed on a Sunday morning; lucky for me I was dining solo and could eat at the counter. Had a great pancake and eggs breakfast cooked perfectly. My coffee cup was never empty. Price was reasonable ($13.50 plus tip) considering what restaurants are charging now. I probably will be back again tomorrow for breakfast.”

That's what walking into Dundees feels like - pure happiness. The service is quite literally the best ever and you'll never feel unwelcomed. Honestly you may feel too welcomed and somehow end up with new bestfriends. Anyways, its a dope bar. Sometimes vintage shows will be on the TV and that's pretty cool. If you don't leave that place with your heart full and happy then something may be wrong with you!”
