“If cocktail magic had a home address, it would be The Craft 836, where the bartender wasn’t just a drink-slinger—oh no—this professional mixology wizard seemed to craft beverages with the finesse of someone who may or may not have trained with celestial beings. Every glass that left the bar glowed with the promise of happiness, good decisions, and possibly better posture. And then… the Craft and Jamaican dry rub chicken wings. Scrumptious doesn’t even begin to describe them. These wings strutted onto the table like they knew they were the star of the show—juicy, spicy, and seasoned so perfectly you’d swear they had their own PR team. Meanwhile, everything coming out of the kitchen looked so jaw-droppingly delicious it made me question every life choice that led me to not ordering that, that, and definitely that. Even the ordering app was a delight. A simple QR scan and—voilà!—this sixty-something woman was tapping, selecting, and paying with the grace of a digital native. No confusion. No panic. No accidentally ordering seventeen sides of fries. (Though honestly, that might not have been the worst fate.) Kudos to the staff and management—this place runs like a well–garlic-oiled machine: smooth, flavorful, and leaving you wanting more. Five stars, a happy belly, and a newfound confidence in QR codes. Cheers!”

“The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was great—such a nice place to enjoy a meal. Unfortunately, the service was just mediocre and didn’t match the quality of everything else. With better service, this would easily be a 10/10 experience. Still definitely worth visiting for the food alone!”

“the watertown location is my girlfriend and i’s favorite spot for coffee and brunch! the brunch burger is insanely good. the past two times we’ve been we’ve gotten that and whatever pastry is speaking to us that day because they’re all always incredible. i feel bad that i had a bad first impression with the coffee here. i got a regular drip coffee my first visit in and wasn’t impressed at all, but i really think it was a fluke because every other drink i’ve had has been off the charts! always a great atmosphere, timely service, and reasonable prices for the high quality.”

“I was a little disappointed with last night's visit (2/3/24), which is truly a first. We arrived shortly after 5:00 pm. When my wife ordered the steak sandwich she was informed that they were out of that, so she changed her order to the Reuben. I then ordered the roast pork. Five minutes later our server returned and informed me that they were out of the roast pork as well. A restaurant shouldn't be out of 2 menu items at 5:15 pm - that's a problem. That said, the food we received was delicious and our server was excellent. I've never had a bad meal or poor service here and probably never will - I will definitely be back and I can still recommend the Crystal without reservation.”

“Second time in 2 days eating here. So good yesterday that I came back again. Yesterday had veal parm, a well made salad w/ lots of lettuce, onions, purple cabbage, tomatoes, shaved carrots (a real, full salad) and dinner rolls all for under $20 (I always drink water w/ lemon). Today had the prime rib special (everyTHUR), salad, and rolls all for $24+ change. Prime rib was cooked perfectly, rare just as I Iike it. If you go anywhere near Watertown, you need to visit Fairgroud Inn. Great serice, very pleasant staff, always excellent vittles! Plenty of parking and a bar w/ spirits. I was seated quickly because I chose to sit in the bar area.”

He went to the bathroom multiple times vomiting his brains out. So my first experience at this place I had to hear puking sounds while I was eating it was very disturbing.”

“Just tried Friede’s Diner in Watertown today and WOW. The eggs were perfect dippy eggs, the bacon was cooked to perfection, and the homemade Italian bread was absolutely top tier. The sausage links were to die for. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. On top of that, the staff was amazing and made the whole experience even better. If you're in Watertown, NY, don’t sleep on this diner you’ll definitely be missing out!”
