“Had my baby shower here and really couldn’t have picked a better place! The owners are so nice and helpful. The female owner was in constant communication with me and texted me back very quickly and answered any questions I had. The day of the shower, I was able to get there very early and start setting up and they were there to help! They had table cloths, tables, chairs, center pieces all set and ready. They have little lantern things around the room that are also Bluetooth speakers which was awesome! My guests were able to have some wine during the party and for those who couldn’t/didn’t want alcohol, we were able to have “virgin” wine slushies (frozen lemonade with flavors to choose from :) ) Overall I would give them 10 stars if I could! Can’t wait to go back in the spring once the baby is born!!”

“This place is hands down the best place in the black river area! Whether for a quick bite for lunch or a get together this is a great option close to base. We held a promotion party here; the food was sooooooo good, the staff was attentive and the space was the perfect size. Their wings and pizza are awesome but tacos are their stand out for sure. I consider this elevated bar food. Yes it’s pizza, burgers, wings, fries and tacos but the flavors are just killer and everything has always been cooked to perfection no matter the time of day or food choice selected. Try their nashville hot it does not disappoint!”

“Despite the inside of the establishment (which no one ever it’s inside), it’s clean and the food is always good. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in the whole Watertown/fort drum area.”

“The Fairground Inn has been a local favorite of mine since I was a teenager. This is a very popular well run restaurant with a dining room and bar area. They have a nice well rounded menu from Italian classics, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, fajitas, steak, chicken and fish. The staff are very knowledgeable and attentive. Don't let the number cars scare you away. Even though they are busy they are located alongside some of great restaurants like Coleman's Corner and Craft836 staff can usually get you and your party seated pretty quickly.”

“My wife and I are regulars at lunch time and love it. We try and make it in 2-3x a week.I’m all about the burger which is, easily, the best in the city. My wife hops around the menu and has really enjoyed it all. We aren’t food picture people but it is social media worthy in its presentation.Christin provides a great atmosphere and has some wonderful people helping her along the way. Everyone is always so nice and kind. It’s a nice break during a hectic workday.”

“Ive been craving papaya salad for a while, and saw that there was a Thai restaurant by our place we decided to try it and it DID NOT disappoint we will definitely be coming back! We got chicken pad Thai, crispy duck, papaya salad, Thai coffee & mango sticky rice all were amazing! Service was also 10/10 staff was really nice and easy to talk to.”

“I was born and raised outside of Philly with some of the best food in the country. I have been away from home for over 2 years. Husband and I chose Pete's for a date night out. It was hands down the best Italian I've had since leaving Philly. The Crab and shrimp bisque was seasoned perfectly. The garlic knots were cooked percent with the right amount of crunch to dough. The salmon special was fresh and the flavors were spot on. 10 out of 10!”

“I was hesitant to go as many people say “oh their coffee is delicious!” And order some crazy sugary syrupy loaded drink. However I got an espresso w/cold foam and a couple baked goods and everything was delicious! I loved the atmosphere of the place itself and the staff all seem pretty friendly and positive!”

I was a little nervous when we parked, as I didn’t know if it would be appropriate for our 16 month old but they have kid menus and he loved it! We ordered the cheese curds, the sauce was so good! We also recommend the Mac and cheese bakes. We tried the original and BBQ pulled pork. We were NOT disappointed. Will definitely make the drive from Fort Drum to come here again!”

My favorite is a BLT sub. Tuna melt delicious. Keep up the good work Mr Sub...Parking: it's good parking. one of the few places on the Square where you can park. I know that youcan also park in the back of the square. I love the location of Mr Subs.”

“Small local dinner, mainly older people working and eating here. Food is fresh, always made in house. Prices are very reasonable, 5 dollar burgers, 10 dollar entrees. Service is reasonable, everything is hot. Small and packed on the weekends. Under staffed sometimes so it can be slow service. 66 dollars for 5 meals and 4 drinks. Country fried steak breakfast.”

“A great place for an inexpensive quality meal. Look, if you are expecting an experience like Maxim's of Paris you will be disappointed. If you unclench you might find a solid menu without a single weak offering. Nothing mind blowing....no foie gras or whatever....but just try the Turkey dinner and tell me you didn't love it. Wait staff is always on top of it and are neither intrusive or lazy...they are just right.The atmosphere is extremely cool...the hammered zinc ceiling and the privacy booths take you back to another era....of flappers and mobsters.....etc.The only flaw? Bring climbing gear for the rappelling downstairs to the bathrooms. We are talking seriously steep. Do NOT send unaccompanied kids off to the toilets....unless a visit to the Watertown ER is on your bucket list.”

“We stopped here on a recommendation from a friend. We had already eaten so were just here for drinks. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed for dinner. I highly recommend the signature blueberry sarracha chicken wings and the duck bacon wontons. Its a fun and interesting menu. Our bartenders Shelby and Sara were a lot of fun. We even decided to come back for Sunday brunch. It was really good.”

“Friday night lights! We took the extended family for a visit to Cook's Family Diner. Across the road the Varsity Football team was moving the ball down the field meanwhile it was a packed night at the diner. Most of us had the Friday fish special a nice sized piece of fish along with sides. The other half had the queen sized prime rib. Conversations were swirling around across the tables. The staff were unfazed and kept up with the frantic pace. People went out, tables reset, and filled by people they came in. We appreciated their hard work and timely service. Look forward to coming back and checking out breakfast sometime.”
