Had a party of six and sat on the deck. What a from the deck. Our server was very attentive and he was very knowledgeable about the menu and area. The food was amazing. They offer gluten free options. If in Sackets Harbor stop by, you won't be disappointed

Great food great service! This is my second visit. As a vegan many times the food is hot or miss at restaurants, the Boathouse is A+. Their homemade black bean burger is great. My family had special - steak and they reported it was quality and fantastic as well.

Great venue...very scenic. Decent 'comfort' food but a bit pricey for dressed up burgers. Service was extremely slow. Our waiter apologized a few times. Couldn't tell if they were understaffed or they were just slow. Our neighbors seemed to feel the same way we felt. Gave the waiter the benefit of the doubt and still tipped at 20%. Two hours for a burger, fries, and (appetizer) shrimp seemed a bit long considering we watched folks served before us...that were at least 20 minutes behind us! $60 bill....I wanted to feel better about it.

My brother and I went for a couple of beers on our way back from Cooperstown. Great location, great view, great service. We didn't eat but the beers were good. I'd return if I'm back in the area.

My family had a great lunch there yesterday. Food and the view were wonderful, our server Jillian was amazing! She was super friendly, went above & beyond!! 👏🏻Tell Jillian she rocks!🍋🟩
Waited at least 15 minutes just for drinks when the restaurant was not overly busy. Our waitress walked by us at least 5 times with all of our cups empty. unfriendly & unwelcoming

Went there for dinner with friends, they arrived before me and my party. Walked in nice place. Good atmosphere. I'm visiting from out of town and I have my small dog with me. He is not a service dog but he isn't a threat to anyone. We walked in and were seated on the back deck, then we were told that we had to move to a different section because of the dog. No problem, I get it. Well after we had ordered and just received our food the owner/manager came to the table and told us, he could not be there either. That dogs aren't allowed (only service animals). And she just stood there like we were to read her mind. Mind you, where I'm from dogs ARE allowed on the outside dinning areas and if they are not there is a sign stating that. There are NO signs, nor anyone at the front podium to tell me they were not allowed. Anyway, I did not appreciate the fact that she waited until after our food was ordered and then made it very uncomfortable standing and staring us down. (Also my dog was behaving and not doing anything to raise concern.) My daughter asked for a togo box, packed her food and left with our dog. She didn't even get to eat. So, with that being said. I had the fish tacos, I've had better. It would have been better grilled instead of coated with a thick batter and deep fried. My biggest issue with this place is the attitude the manager had and make us feel like we were beneath her and how dare we even enjoy dinner outside on the patio with our dog. Well, dinner wasn't great. Oh, and her excuse about the whole situation was that he may get into a fight and cause harm to someone. He was under my chair sitting nicely and not paying attention to anyone else. So, they may want to post signage stating dogs (pets) are not welcome. Won't be back to eat here. ***no one was complaining about him either****
