Food was very expensive and not that good. However, good service and spectacular views.

We visited on a cool afternoon so we got a nice table over looking the water. Good service, Fish n Chips were really good, prices not bad.
Parking: Restaurant close to free marina parking.

People and atmosphere was amazing. Food is way overpriced for the quality. Wasnt a big fan of it. Got Fish and chips and honestly a hole in the wall restaurant would have been better for half the price.

My family and I, including elderly parents, wife, two teenage daughters, and a toddler, visited the Boathouse for lunch on 8/31/24 around 1:30 PM. We were staying in Henderson, just outside of Sacket's Harbor, for the week. After a morning of shopping, we decided to try the Boathouse based on its appealing menu.
The restaurant was about half full, but unfortunately, we were turned away by the hostess. She informed us that they were at capacity and couldn't accommodate our party of seven. We were surprised and disappointed, as was the gentleman behind us who witnessed the interaction and left in disgust, despite our suggestion that they might be able to handle his smaller party.
It felt like the Boathouse simply didn't want more business, which was perplexing given the industry and the expected influx of visitors for the Labor Day weekend and a marathon the following day. What a missed opportunity for the Boathouse. I’ll give the atmosphere 4-stars because it looked fun inside and is on the water; it has both indoor and outdoor seating.

Beautiful spot on water. Was very peaceful. Food was overpriced which is ok if it's delicious in that atmosphere. Problem is food wasn't very good at all. Service was way too slow on top of it. Next time I'll try 1812 next door.

We were pleasantly surprised that on a Sunday evening they had room for a large party of walk-ins. (It was cool out, so inside was perfect - I'll bet it's much busier on a hot day in high-tourist season?) The wait staff were great and the food was all fresh and yummy. (I had a tasty seafood chowder). The dining room had some lovely views of the harbor. All in all a really nice place with some great food!
