As others have said, this is a place with a beautiful spot for a view. We visited in high season so we went early for dinner and were able to get a great table with a gorgeous vista. The food was decent but not what I would call "special" or gourmet but combined with the excellent service and view, we enjoyed our experience. We asked for a few minor modifications to our meals and they were happy to oblige. We would definitely go back.

Eating on the deck overlooking the harbor and the marina in the bright sunshine makes for a great early fall day.Four vegetarians and vegans ate well but the only menu item we could eat was a 2010 style boring bean burger with various toppings. Salads were fresh. French fries were prepackaged, salty and a bit soggy.

The perfect combination of food quality, service, and location. We enjoyed our dinner outside on the deck with a wonderful view. Very much enjoyed our fettuccine Alfredo and summer salad! Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and attentive.

We arrived . Coffee served 20 minutes later, we got cream 2 sugar packets for 4 cups of coffee the first cups of coffee now cold. fish over deep fried hard and greasy, fries cold, 30 minutes to place order, and cost for 3( a hundred bucks) Waiter was over worked and lost . The kitchen was not on point and even after paying and leaving a 0 tip no one asked what was wrong. Left hungry unhappy and will most likely never return should have been a clue when waiter returned to clear table and fries, coleslaw, and a hunk of fish was left on a plate that this meal was I'll recieved. But waiter apologized about being short staffed. If I could have been served a complete cup of coffee ☕️ with cream and sugar that would have helped . Would have been forgivable if every bit of the dinner I ordered wasnt less appetizing than what I could have gotten off the dollar menu at a McDonald's.

Nice outdoor seating area with smart protection from seagulls. We've been served hard cider instead of the ale we'd ordered, but our server came back to apologize and replace it very quickly. However, the cider was so good we kept it.Kid-friendliness: The server was very attentive to kids' requests, and the restaurant was able to accommodate allergies.

I was there with a large group for two different nights. We brought in around 50 people for everything from drinks to appetizers and dinner. The whole time it felt unfriendly. The staff seemed annoyed with the different groups of us. The young lady who served my family seemed nice enough, but the lady who seemed to be the manager was down right hostile on two occasions. Most of the staff acted like it was a huge inconvenience that we were there. We felt our business was unwelcome in this lakeside tourist town. Funny thing is a few of us were from here and we recommended this place because we remembered it as friendly. The second night we took our business to the 1812 and packed the empty place. The one server was friendly and accommodating to our guests.Parking: There is a lot up the road on a side street. It’s uncomfortable walking to if it’s dark. Lighting could be better. If it’s a summer weekend, it’s challenging to park.

This location is right on the St. Lawrence River which creates a serene atmosphere, but there are a lot of birds and seagulls lurking around. ? The menu is family-friendly, but the prices are super steep. I paid $24 for fish and chips, and they dish was standard. We paid an additional $2 for my husband to upgrade the home chips to a side salad. The salad was super tiny. Super tiny! I will say that our waitress Brooklyn was extremely professional, kind, and compassionate. She welcomed us with open arms and gave us a great customer service experience. Kudos to Brooklyn. The restaurant is nice, but it isn't for everybody. Please try it because we need our local eateries to thrive, but just note that it is very pricey.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have five stars. I’ve only been here twice, but it was back to back. Both times the food was delicious, the place and the view are beautiful and the drinks are great.
