Great experience last night. Kevin was our server and was spot on with service. Excellent atmosphere and fun place to celebrate pre eclipse.

We were looking forward to dining out on our excursion to Sackets Harbor. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Live music and cute environment. Unfortunately we waited for 45 minutes for our appetizers and another half hour for dinner. Our servers avoided coming over because they knew it was unacceptable and they had nothing to offer. No drink no bread. We were told they were understaffed. No manager to be seen. We were told he may be helping to wash dishes. Like really. Why isnt the manager out front talking to customers and making things right. 190 dollars to sit and wait. We actually felt bad for the customers coming after us. So many people just waiting. In good faith you should tell customers when they are seated that you are understaffed and there will be a wait of up to an hour or more otherwise don't seat people or take reservations. Sorry Tin Pan Galley but this experience sucked!!!

Last time I went I encountered rude high school servers, who were very disrespectful. I would not recommend taking your family here during summer time (which is when the kids are working) unless you are inclined to verbal and/or even a physical altercation. The food is good but with the unprofessional workers, I will never come here again.

I love their food and one of my personal favorites are Haddick sandwich, Pulled Pork sandwich and chocolate chip pancakes and Tin Pan Galley is the best to eat?

We have been going to tin pan galley for decades and have always had amazing experiences. We went recently on a rainy Saturday and received less than stellar service and food. I did not want to cause a scene and complain at the restaurant so I used the contact us form. I asked to be put in touch with the restaurant manager and sent them a detailed review of my experience and copy of the bill. I simply asked them to review the experience and respond to my e-mail. I was responded to a week later by a person named Renee who said they were the manager. They indicated they did not get my concerns in the e-mail so I re sent the e-mail and asked for a response, the only answer I got was that I should call the restaurant and ask to speak to the owner.I indicated I reside in Canada and prefer to start the conversation on e-mail but my request was ignored.I will say that for decades I have had nothing but excellent service and food but the Saturday I went was very different so I'm assuming it is not the new standard.

We loved the ambiance and the staff was so friendly but the price and food just didn’t match. The poached eggs were hard boiled, the French toast was not soaked long enough making it essentially just toast with a thin egg batter, the kids pancakes were over cooked, and the bacon was burned. If you charge $19 per plate on average it needs to meet the quality expected of a $19 meal. And $4.50 for a cup of drip coffee is just outrageous. All in all for 2 kids and 2 adults it cost us $72 to eat here for breakfast- no alcohol. Just 2 adult entrees, 2 kids entrees, and 2 cups of coffee. I wish it was better and more affordable because we would have loved to be regulars.

I don't know how we missed this place. What a gem, I can't wait to get back there next year! The food was decent, very good portions. A little bit long for order to table but it was end of season. A great place to relax or unwind.

The waitress didn't know the soup of the day or specials. Broccoli was supposed to come roasted and it came steamed with stray pieces of pasta mixed in. Spaghetti mixed in with another dinner. The creme brûlée was so bad we had to send it back. One was complete liquid and another was as hard as a hard boiled egg. Then the waitress gave us attitude when we asked her to split check. This place used to be awesome with the previous owner. I will not be going back.

Never got acknowledged after we were sat, waited for about 30 minutes and decided to just leave because no one ever came to our table. Bummer, I’ve heard the food is good; service not so much.

Went for breakfast, was fine at first but when we got our food, one of us who ordered the breakfast sandwich was served the breakfast BLT instead (which is more expensive). When we tried to say this was the wrong meal, we were told “this is what you ordered” and “we don’t have a breakfast sandwich.” In addition, two meals that were meant to include home fries did not have any, and one of us was served RAW EGGS. And to top it all off, our check included 5 items we did not even order. Definitely avoid this place if you value your sanity or if you want to avoid salmonella.
