Driving around after setting up a display at a golf course we came across this little gem in Sag Harbour. I had three tacos; chicken, chorizo and beef. All were delicious. The portions were spot on. My colleague had a burrito and quesadilla. Both look amazing. Fresh tasting great quality ingredients. My pictures arenât the best as we could wait to eat! Must try take away if youâre near.

Cilantroâs is a good spot in Sag Harbor for takeaway. My go-to order is the veggie fajitas which I order vegan (no cheese, no sour cream). Large enough portion for 2 people or 2 meals! Love the hot sauces. Wish there was some seating option, a little stand up room at the counter not the most comfortable space so order to take away.

The best part of our meal was the chips and guacamole. We got chicken quesadillas which didnât have much chicken and it didnât taste like much. The biggest issue was the pricing. The website was not working and the picture of the menu on Google maps had prices which were significantly less than what we were charged. Then, after getting a number of drinks to add to our order the cashier just made up prices that he felt were best to charge. The receipt shows prices but no names of items so we have no idea of knowing how much anything actually was. While the food is somewhat decent, the lack of transparency is what really puts a damper on the whole experience.

The food here is pretty good for vegetarians, but lacks good vegan options. Their rice is vegan. You can ask for dairy free for some items. While the menu said the tostada came with a corn tortilla, it didnât taste like one. Enjoyed the green habanero sauce which we purchased separately. The green salsa is good, but the red sauce is super spicy. Guacamole needs more acid and salt. Chips are extra and donât come with the order.

This is a place that has changed hand multiple times and yet Iâve loyally continued to patronize the establishment throughout every transition. The most recent iteration is Cilantro. So I have been a patron for over the 20 + years that I have lived in the area and I have never been treated so rudely by any merchant in this community. I called in a takeout order of a burrito with extra steak as has been my same order over years. I even emphasized that I want to be sure that it included extra steak and I had no problem paying for it. The man who took my order that he âgot thatâ. I arrived picked up my food, asked again if it included extra steak, got some extra sauces, paid for it and took it home. When I cut into the burrito, not only did it not have extra steak, instead it had extra rice and beans to simulate that it had extra meat. I immediately reached out to the merchant to tell him that there had been an error and I was willing to send a photo or video as evidence of, the order being incorrect. He then said, I could drive back and they would make it again. Clearly that is unacceptable as a customer I should not be inconvenienced because of their error. I should not have the inconvenience of having to spend extra gas because they made a mistake. I said I wanted to have my money back at least for , the extra meat that I paid for and didn't get. He said âno problem. I will refund the moneyâ. I waited on the call until the money was refunded and instead of the transaction concluding at that point, the merchant rudely said, and I quote âit has been reversed and donât call back here again.â As if I did something wrong.
Talk about bad customer service! If this was an employee, he should be fired. If this was the owner, you wonât stay in business long.
But one thing is for certain: hey donât have to worry about me. Not only will I not call back there again, I will not go back there again. I will also make sure that everybody that I know who patronized them in the past knows exactly what occurred. I donât pay good money for bad service.

Had the chicken burrito, which was quite good, not the best I've ever had, but very good. Would give 5 starts but the kid behind the counter was a bit rude and was speaking to me in a a tone that suggested he didn't understand why I was even in the restaurant and wanted me to leave. Asked what else was on the burrito (menu doesn't say except for choice of meat) he literally let out a quiet sigh and listed off the ingredients. Ordered my food and he said, let me check how long.... Gonna be 15-20 minutes. Asked to pay after I ordered and he said "you pay when you get it". I can't just pay now? I said. "You pay when you get it" and walked away. Food came out in like 3 minutes and payed literally 1 minutes after I asked to pay earlier. Good food. Bad service

Amongst all the mediocrity out here, Cilantroâs really rises to the top. The food was great, it was well packaged for takeout, the place looked nice and clean inside, staff was a delight, and if you like hot sauce, I highly recommend trying the red stuff. Itâs delish, and itâll also give your pucker a facelift - if you catch my drift!
