Everything is wonderful! The food is beyond delicious, the staff warm and efficient and the restaurant is cozy!
SUPERB EXPERIENCE FOR PARTY OF FOUR. FOOD DELICIOUS, AMBIENCE STELLAR AND STAFF WAS OUTSTANDING.
For the ridiculously high price, the food is terrible: undercooked pasta with zero flavor. Do better.
Another wonderful evening at Dopo! Please share with your kitchen staff that the lasagna was an inspired dish: rustic, yet elegant and absolutely delicious!!! Please consider adding it to the regular menu.
Best Italian food I've had in a while! Charming atmosphere and attentive service. Will gladly return.
Dopo is superb in every way. The service is amazing, the dining room is chic and cozy, and I love the airy bar area. We split the octopus and then I had the rigatoni - I never order anything else! - and my stepfather got squid ink spaghetti, all excellent. You'll love it.
Welcoming, Attentive, & Friendly Staff. Interesting menu selections available from a very talented chef. Each item is a truly enjoyable experience. We will keep coming back to enjoy the fabulous food prepared to perfection. Bravo Dopo la Spiaggia!
We ate outside with a heater.. very pleasant our waiter was attentive and courteous. We ordered the veal which was one of the most expensive dishes on the menu. It was tasteless and tough., very disappointing. We had the buratta appetizer which was also tasteless..needed some olive oil and balsamic.. ordered wine by the glass from a limited selection Skipped dessert and the bill was very expensive We will not be returning to what was once a very good restaurant!
Everything was really good! We had dinner on Saturday. The pasta with seafood was amazing. Great atmosphere and the staff was friendly.

Dopo la Spiaggia is always our first stop when we come to Sag Harbor! The food is amazing: freshly prepared (the pasta!!!); the staff is warm and engaging and the setting is welcoming! Win. Win. Win.

Have dined at Dopo often .. and obviously like it Last night was a mess . The noise level was absurd . Frankly nigh intolerable . My guest and I had to shout at each other . It became a farce Service fine Food so so. My veal was tiny whereas my partners chicken Milanese was so vast it was intimidating . She took three quarters home . My tiramisu was acceptable but a good tiramisu is very light . This most certainly wasn't
Very nice service, good food cooked correctly to order. A lovely experience, overall. I am a longtime local resident. This is a very good go to choice after saving up for a year to enjoy a night out. :)
Honestly, I set the bar pretty high for places in the Hamptons. They're packed with people “from the City” with prices to which they're all accustomed. With a beautifully appointed outdoor seating area and strong recommendations, I was hoping for the best, but was a bit disappointed. A tuna crudo and burratta with heirlooms were great, but branzino and trenette with clams were less than spectacular, IMO.
If you’re searching for a cozy, charming spot with delectable food, Dopo is the place to be. This quaint restaurant, with its intimate size and picturesque view, offers a delightful dining experience that’s hard to beat.
We started our meal with the calamari fritti, which was perfectly crisp and light, setting a high bar for the rest of the evening. Next, we enjoyed the eggplant parmesan—a classic done to perfection, with layers of rich, flavorful cheese and tender eggplant. The grilled octopus was another standout, showcasing fresh ingredients and expert grilling.
The service at Dopo was exceptionally warm and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Moreover, the prices were quite reasonable given the high quality of the dishes.
Overall, Dopo exceeded our expectations, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone in the mood for a great meal in a charming setting!

The service is extremely sub par. The pasta was way undercooked and the server gave us an answer with not much concern and told us that’s the way it was supposed to be. I don’t think pasta should be hard to the point where it’s difficult to stick your fork through it. This restaurant makes the Hampton look unglamorous and a bad rep. I am regretful to have to leave this however bad food and ever worse food has left me to resort this review. I hope this establishment will learn from this
