I give this a 5-star rating because the young man, Nick, is incredibly good-looking.

Really unpleasant experience. The woman at the counter was shockingly rude when I ordered. No greeting, no patience, just attitude. On top of that, the coffee was genuinely bad. Won’t be coming back.

Coffee is extremely mid and the service is bad. I guess they're busy because they benefit from high foot traffic during the summer. But this place is not anything to write home about.

The coffe is bad. And the food had mold. The matcha chia pudding with blueberries were rotten. So I gave it back to them and while I was walking out I notice a young girl also opening the matcha Chia looking disgusted and throwing it away… so it wasn’t only mine.

Multiple times now, I have been given the wrong order. The first time it was extremely busy so I shrugged it off because I like the coffee. The second time I was the only one in the place and when I tell them that’s not what I ordered I get an attitude. They tell me what I ordered as if I don’t know what I want when spending $7 on a coffee. Not going back.

The coffee was just fine. The service, too—polite, efficient, nothing to complain about. But the place carries itself with a quiet smugness, like it knows it’s not great but assumes you won’t dare say so. The clientele seem less interested in coffee than in being seen drinking it—an air of casual elitism that clings to the room like the scent of burnt toast.
And then there were the six miniature Black and White cookies— $24 for a clamshell that felt more like a status symbol than a snack. If Steinbeck himself baked them they still wouldn’t be worth the price.
If you’re after decent coffee and a place to eavesdrop on someone else’s second home renovation plans, this might suit you. But if you're seeking warmth, value, or authenticity, keep walking.

Employees at AJacks in sag harbor blink if you’re ok? Can’t tell if they hate their job or hate the clientele. Coffee is delicious though.

I never leave reviews, but would leave a zero * if I could. I go to Jack’s probably once a week and the service today was the worst I’ve had ever. The woman making coffee had the lights deliberately turned low, so they looked closed, although it was three hours prior to closing. She looked annoyed she had to make a cup of coffee (black) and was incredibly rude and wouldn’t interact with us. No hello, walked away from us without a word & didn’t turn the screen to pay. Just incredibly rude and awful service. Don’t come to work if you don’t want to be there.

The worst in a long while. Burnt milk, bitter espresso and weak in a “small” giant cup. If only Carissas was open Tuesday and Wednesday.

Worst service I ever experienced in my life on Thursday afternoon 9-26-24 at 4pm. Server hated being there and made it known from the minute we walked through the door. No issues with the coffee.

Some of the best coffee in the Hamptons. The Dirty Harry is my go-to beverage of choice. All their locations are super low key but have just the right vibe.

Forgot about my order, reminded them, still didn’t make it. Wasn’t worth the hassle.

Last summer I assumed that Jacks being perpetually understaffed was a result of it being a new location. Unfortunately, upon returning for a coffee on Memorial Day weekend and seeing just one worker, I was proven wrong. I watched multiple customers give up and leave the long line, even people asking for refunds or for their orders to be cancelled. After waiting for 20 minutes to place my order, the barista asked the entire line of customers to leave the store and ‘come back later’ because they were too backed up. I feel the most bad for the workers here, you can’t staff one person to take online orders, in-store orders, and make all of the coffees on one of the busiest weekends of the year!
