Zero stars. They have no chance of being successful with this level of incompetence. Ordered food. Waited an hour. Was told multiple times it ‘would be a few minutes’. This place is amateur hour.

elTacobar has gluten free items marked on their menu, and most items are marked gluten free. Staff is knowledgeable in answering questions. Be cautious though because my tacos were on the same tray as my fiancée - just happened to be all gluten free even though I am the only one with Celiac. I’m glad that the chips are in a seperate fryer.

Personally, I believe elTacobar is extremely overpriced!! $22 for chips, salsa, and guacamole is ridiculous, especially when most Mexican restaurants include chips & salsa for free. The tacos are small street size and priced around $9 for 1 taco and they require you to order a minimum of 2 tacos. The pricing of this restaurant is a Hamptons tourist trap so I’m not rushing to come back anytime soon!

Fun and outstanding eatery on Main Street. All of our dishes were tasty, fresh and delicious. We ordered two plates of the chicken quesadillas and they were delightful. The flour tortillas were perfectly prepared and the chicken was juicy and tangy. The shrimp tacos as well as the chipotle cauliflower tacos were equally fresh and delicious. Our server Sallyleonie was exceptionally kind and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. Most importantly, El Tacobar is super family friendly!

Worst place I’ve been to eat in years. The server was not professional, she was a young girl and incorrectly took my order, was very rude, rushed us, and did not provide water for the table. The food was not good, I could not finish my order, and the kitchen had been closed so I was unable to order anything else. Additionally, our table was not notified that a 20% auto gratuity was included. Save the hassle and don’t go here, there’s plenty of better restaurants next to it. Also, the bathrooms were disgusting.

I sat at the bar and my experience was amazing. Nick the bartender was amazing, and so was Jagger the barback. I cant recommend this place enough. Definitely sit at the bar if theres room. I had the Steak Asada and it was amazing, highly recommend.

Very arrogant server, I believe his name was Johan L.
Not accommodated and hospitable at all!
His attitude was like he was making us a favor - very bad attitude - i am developing restaurants in the city for the past 20 years and this is just not proper at all.
I feel sorry for the owner which losing customers bcs of him and the GM or floor manager that doesn't know anything in the field !

Also i had to request 3 times to the little inexperience girl hostes for a table while she had no more reservations and other customers waiting and she wanted to sit us in an area which we wasn't liked at all !

Those employees need to be educated about what hospitality and customers service means !!!

The food is total rip off !
$18 for 2 tiny tacos of fried cod 1 inch size each,
Steak tacos ( carne asada ) $13 each with just 3 little pieces of skirt steak !!
Small bowl of Guacamole and chips with 3 sauces $ 22 !
Margaritas average $21 !!!

That was my first last time visited that place !!!
Previous burger establishment was just amazing !!!
Stay away from El Taco bar! If you want Mexican just walk 1/2 mile towards the harbor and enjoy it there !!

four of us went out to grab lunch. the food was not as good as it should be for the price ($180) for chips and salsa, two burritos, two quesadillas and 4 drinks. we have been there twice and both times they did not show us the price before we paid so we had to choose a tip ($30) without knowing our total.

Great tacos and friendly people!

We got the summer squash salad, fried cheese, sweet plantains, mojo pork taco, chicken quesadilla and steak asada.

I thought all the food was great. The summer squash salad and steak asada were highlights for me. The steak was cooked perfectly and it was essentially a fajita dish with peppers and onions served with the steak on a skillet along with three tortillas, guacamole and mole sauce. The fried cheese was a fun Mexican take on mozzarella sticks. The only thing that didn’t shin much was the quesadilla. It just needed some kind of crema. I will say though that the quesadilla did give the most bang for your buck portion wise.

Our server wasn’t the most attentive and the table was pretty dirty when we got there and they never cleaned it so it loses a star for that.

Great place to eat Mexican food. Good price for the Hamptons. The guacamole is very tasty! They also have a great variety of tequilas.

Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options.

Food was really good however the service was very unorganized. I’ve had my fair share of Mexican food around this area and this was hands down the best on the east end.
