It was chaos- clearly understaffed for a holiday weekend. For a 9:00pm reservation for five we were finally seated at 10:15pm after being told several times our table would be ready. People at tables outside stayed after eating to watch the fireworks so no tables opened up. That should have been handled better. We spent hundreds of dollars at the bar for overpriced cocktails with never any acknowledgement about our waiting, only to be told we will be seated soon. Finally seated in the attic- the most charmless room in a Hamptons restaurant, we ordered and the food took 25 minutes to come out, only being served because we asked what was going on. The server answered they were holding up our appetizers and dinner until the roasted half chicken was ready! The food overall was mediocre- the pasta with lobster was noodles with oil. The shrimp cocktail was inedible because the shrimp had gone bad. We paid the bill and there was never any acknowledgment or apology for what we had to endure. As we were leaving we asked to speak to a manager and they could not find him for 10 minutes. We finally spoke to him and he did nothing to try to make it better. While waiting for him we asked who was the ABC manager on duty and the person answered they did not know what that was. He was by the way the service bartender. This was our second bad experience there this summer. We will not be back. Have tried calling the General Manager, left a message and still no reply. Stay away from this place and save your money.

Awful experience this time. Granted it was Saturday July 5, evening of Sag Harbor fireworks. Having said that the dining room was not overly crowded but the kitchen was totally backed up. Perhaps a function elsewhere in the hotel but then don't take on additional bookings. We had a 7:30 reservation and waited almost 2 hours for the food. We were not the only table having issues with timely service. In the end we took our food to go in order to head to the fireworks. Really disappointing- A complete waste of money.

It was great as always! Food was delicious, great service, the whole staff is nice as can be and we had an amazing table with a wonderful view of the 4th of July fireworks. Thank you!

Server was great but we waited about 20 min for a drink and about 40 min for dinner. Food was pretty bland for a restaurant at this price point.

A fantastic lobster roll and delicious drinks. Tuna tartare was fabulous. Highly recommend!

Food was ok. However the whole point was to sit upstairs and see the marina and when we arrived we were told it was booked for a private event. Just message your customers and let them know before they drive to find out

Awful , kitchen understaffed , mgr tried but could not get it done , they shoukd never have sat us for the meal the single worst dining experience I have ever had and it was not inexpensive which added insult to injury I feel bad for the servers so I still tipped well . This was a mgmt issue .

A guy hostess sat us inside after being told we would sit outside and lied saying the reason we would sit inside was because it was going to rain. It never rained and was super sunny. Service was really slow our server came up 1 or twice after taking our order our water glasses were empty most of the meal.

Thrilled that Baron's Cove is under new management. Resto is superb - a vast improvement. Service excellent, lovely sitting in the porch. Meal was uniformly strong; oyster are presented creatively - the cucumber in the mignonette is a nice touch. Red snapper special was superb, as was the lobster rigatoni. Our server was charming and efficient. Enjoyed meeting Nicholas, the resto manager. Very much looking forward to returning this Summer. Will save time for a drink around the fire pit next time.

Everything we had to eat was delicious. The atmosphere was also great! We had the best waiter Mikeal. He made very good suggestions especially when it came to portion sizes. We will definitely be back!

The food was great. I also really liked the live music during dinner. The view sitting outside on the patio was amazing as well. Josh provided some of the best service I've had in a while.

Wonderful service experience and terrific food and drink. We sat outside on the second level and had an incredible view of sunset while we had fresh oysters, gazpacho and craft cocktails. Dinner and dessert were also outstanding and the service was top shelf. Unfortunately, we had front row seats as the staff dealt with an incredibly entitled, rude table next to us complaining about ridiculous and meaningless things so that they could talk about themselves. The staff handled this with class, thanked the group for the feedback and hurried of to honor their requests. True professionals! All in all, we love it and will defiantly be back again. Well done!

My husband and I had an incredible experience dining here for our anniversary! The food was outstanding (I'm still daydreaming about when we'll make it back out to Sag Harbor to eat there again), our waiter and the head of food and beverage for the hotel were both extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and just delightful. We had a gorgeous view of boats docked on the water and saw a beautiful sunset during the course of our meal. We will definitely be going back and we've been raving to everyone we know since!!
