There is no other restaurant in the Hamptons as reliable and consistent as Tutto Il Giorno, Sag Harbor. From the food, to the wine, to the service, it’s simply perfect every time. If you’re dining here in the winter, don’t miss the Tortelli.

We went to this little mashup of haute couture and pasta in Sag Harbor to see what all the hullabaloo was about. From the sheep skins covering the outdoor chairs, to the mannequins along the tables, not quite sure if we were in a boutique or a restaurant. First off, reservations were through RESY with a ridiculously absurd 250 dollar cancellation fee. So needless to say WE WENT! Again, the ambiance was a bit odd, it’s like eating inside a Vince Camuto with a dash of Pottery Barn. The service was excellent the food was good, but not worth the prices. The bronzino was 61 dollars which is absurd, no bronzino should be that much. We ordered the soup, which was a bland potato leak for a mere 18 dollars. To follow we had a pasta dish and black sea bass that was excellent. If you are going to charge hundreds of dollars for a meal for two, please kindly include some bread and not charge 5 dollars, it’s greedy and tacky as f. I think overall I wouldn’t come back here, but if you want to be seen then I can understand why people come here. I come for the food.

Unfortunately, I must concur with the average Yelp rating this place receives. None of us 4 diners felt our dishes were worth the price tag (with the exception of a lentil squash special soup which was a delight). Ambiance however is fantastic. The space has several zones that accommodates a variety of needs - from quiet indoor, romantic outdoor and family-boisterous vibes in the outdoor larger space. Heaters add to the coziness too. I might return, but more due to the dearth of good Italian spots in this area...

Tutto is definitely one of our favorite spots in the hamptons. I know most people will say that this is overrated or 'nothing special', but they are incorrect. Tutto is consistently good and vibrant beyond the food. Both in indoor and outdoor seating areas are beautifully decorated and full of life. Always crowded and bustling in the most elegant way. For the service I have no complaints; they are quick and kind. The food is very good. All the pastas are fabulous, my personal favorite is the rigatoni. The calamari is also delicious and the eggplant. Mostly everything is best for sharing--what we like to do. Tutto is definitely on the pricier side but we love coming for a special occasion. I haven't been to the other location but sag harbor is great!

As close to elegant as the Hamptons get. Lovely spacious tasteful setting. Plentiful well trained wait staff. Had a lovely gazpacho. Pronounced notes of a superior olive oil. Simple plate of pasta...deep rich sauce, properly al dente . Did not get wine, did not want to support a wine list where glasses start at $22. Table bread ( had to request) superior, fresh and crusty.

Avoid like the plague if you don't seek to impose food poisoning - at $200 a head - on yourself or your loved ones. Culprit was the tuna tartare.
