I had to make sure I hadn’t passed by the Pearly Gates and was dining with Saint Peter in heaven because this meal was the definition of perfection. You would think you were in Heaven. Everything was exemplary from the warm greeting upon our arrival, to the tasty seasoned bread that was immediately served. The wine list would meet any wine enthusiast’s expectations. Our adventure commenced with a first course of a soup, which was balanced with a cacophony of flavors that gave our palette an epicurean surprise. This was the first step in a journey that exceeded our humble imagination. The next course was a salad that set a wonderful standard for vegetables. The third course was a pork dish, so perfectly balanced and delectably resting on a risotto base. When we thought we couldn’t eat any more, they delivered the finest piece of filet mignon, so perfectly salted with sea salt seating on a chick pea curry seasoned mashed potatoes. The night concluded with a plate of dessert that could have been gifts from Mount Olympus, a collection of treats that the Royal Courts and Monarchs of Europe would have relished to feast upon. A delectable chocolate fruit cake, an Italian Bombilini cake with coconut rum cream and finally a raspberry cranberry tart with vanilla ice cream on top.The service was both sophisticated and amicable and friendly, as if we were dining with long time friends. Even the tap water, which was filter, was a wonderful surprise. We started with a carbonated natural spring water from Italy: Santa Barbara di Lurisia, which was a great choice. The entire evening, from soap to nuts, exceeded all expectations and created a memory that will stay with us until we can again return to discover what new gastronomic treasures await us.

If you’re a foodie and this place is for you! This place is an experience! The staff are so attentive and everything is delicious! You don’t have to worry about being indecisive and thinking on what dish to pick. It’s a curative 5 course menu with immaculate taste and flavors. Would absolutely come here again!

Wow, where to begin? This was an amazing experience and I cannot believe I've never been. It has to be one of the top restaurants I've ever been to. The drinks, superb. The food, outstanding! Flavor explosion. Five courses for $111. Totally worth it. Each meal is a big surprise. You tell them allergies and food issues beforehand so they are prepared and make sure you can eat all that is served! There was a constant rotation of wait staff serving you. It was a great experience. Go! It is worth the money. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!

I've never been to a restaurant like mosaic before. Very nice experience. The service was impeccable, never been to a five course tasting before. The food was unbelievable , the chef was the best. The atmosphere was ok, not matching the 5 star experience in the other categories. Overall a very nice evening.Dietary restrictions: Very unique. They call and ask if there is any restrictions.

My husband and I spent yesterday, Valentine's Day at this restaurant-we have been here several times in the past and thought it would be a nice way to spend a special occasion- if you like a mixture of 15 different taste on each plate than this for you-for us it was just too much mixed together and sauces took away from the actual flavor of the main part of the dish-but then it happend-I was drinking my tea we were pretty much finishing and they came and brought my husband's coat over and handed it to him as if to say it's time to leave- he sat there with his coat on his lap while I continued my tea -then one of the waiters came over and asked us if I could take my tea and go over to the bar that they needed the table -I was mortified -this dinner was over $400 they couldn't wait another 10 minutes quietly while we finish our dinner and apologize for the delay to the people who were waiting- it's not like we were sitting and taking up time senselessly -I refused, I said I'll leave when I'm done-he said OK -there were people next to us who were there before us they didn't ask them to leave -my thing is if you're receiving this kind of money for dinner how could you ask people to leave when they're not finished -this is a booking problem on the part not to mention if it's a five course serving don't take a half hour between each serving to bring food out and then ask people to leave because you need the table and your time ran out-I thought the whole situation was unprofessional especially for a restaurant of that caliber and spending that kind of money it was rude and unacceptable and if they did it to us I'm sure they had and have, no problem doing it to other people- so if you go there and you spend your hard earned money and think your impressing your wife/date for be prepared to be asked to take your food and go sit at the bar because they need the table!!

I absolutely adored this restaurant. 10/10.One of my biggest pet peeves with restaurants is their bathrooms. Pleasantly surprised with the decor and cleanliness. I took pictures to share. The staff was patient and helpful, on point with drink refills and everyone had a great additude/tone.Officially one of my favorites in all of New York.

Well hidden gem of a restaurant. The waiter and staff was helpful in describing our dishes. The space was cozy and intimate. I appreciate the experience for what it was. If anyone wants to have a unique and promising foody adventure. You will be pleasantly surprised here.

I never write reviews, but this was an extraordinary bad experience and thought important for folks to be aware. Had a reservation for a 50th birthday, which was made 6 weeks in advance and confirmed twice before arrival. Arrived for dinner with family and they had “mistakenly” cancelled the reservation. We played them voicemails and showed them text with reservation confirmations (also we live over an hour away from this restaurant, so clearly we did not cancel and just show up for fun). They had no solutions, were deers in headlights and left us out to dry on a Saturday evening in 20 degree weather. They were unprofessional, uncaring and ruined a 50th birthday. We were so excited to celebrate the special occasion at eatMOSAIC, and it was an absolute disaster. To respond to your out right LIES below eatMOSAIC - you confirmed that you had CANCELLED our reservation by accident. Happy to provide you the voicemail confirmation and text transcript again. We would have NEVER booked 1/27 because that’s not their birthday! Their birthday was 1/20 and that’s why we booked that date. Another lie you just told. You offered us NO table in the main dinning room, we even asked to sit at bar again that was a NO. Yes we showed up with 3 people because as we told you 1 person had Covid, but of course you just failed to mention that below in your untruth, accusations and lies. To be clear, you would prefer someone with Covid to show up and infect your entire restaurant and staff? Wow you’re truly disgusting! Also, you did NOT offer to call another restaurant. RATHER I proactively asked you to call another recommend restaurant, since we did not know the area which I had reiterated to you several times (came from a hour away). As you were doing this I was on Google Maps attempting to find any other option. To be clear, you called ONE restaurant that was booked and offered ZERO help after that happened.Your comment below on 7:30pm reservation, that is the only half truth. YES, we did initially inquire about a 7:30pm reservation in early December for 1/20 birthday dinner. When you called me back you informed us that you only do 2 seatings -6pm or 8pm. We graciously accepted your seating times. Again, the lies below show your true character and your deceitful behavior.

LOVE!!! Unique cocktails, mocktail, and other drinks. 5-course “tasting” but more than that! Very filling. Very pleasing. Cool, calm, and romantic. Delicious. I love the idea that we don’t know what’s “on the menu.” Absolutely exciting!

I honestly cannot recommend this over hyped restaurant. Food is sub-par, menu is uninspiring and attentive service is at a minimum. Plus if you have a vegetarian in your party, their meal options limited compared to omnivore options.

Food and service was very good. Unfortunately, the soup dish was served barely lukewarm which made for a disappointing start to the meal. Not what I expect at that price point. The table next to us got theirs piping hot right after we were served. Other than that, everything was great.

Wife and I came here to celebrate a special occasion and wow we were absolutely blown away. It's a price fixe menu but don't let that dissuade you the food is beyond amazing prepare to give your palate a treat and go on a journey where you'll have one of the most amazing meals imaginable. The service is impeccable with some very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The ambiance is so nice you have to make a reservation but it doesn't feel over crowded. Would definitely recommend
