oo my gosh, this is a nice settings, definitely not the bougie places you find on the east end (either nort shore or south shore). outdated building has tons of charm with a lot of authenticity. Too bad the fireplace are “fake” gas fireplaces. The wine is not worse the drive and definitely tasting is overpriced. Disappointing wines. I repeat, this is a location to visit for the setting and not for the wine
Megan G was wonderful! She was so attentive and we had the best time!
Awesome experience in this hidden gem in Long Island. The wine was excellent and the overall atmosphere was quite enjoyable. Also, Fabio was very knowledgeable of the wines and took the time to explain each one on the menu. He was patient, friendly and made awesome recommendations. This vineyard is definitely worth the 1.5 hour drive from the city.
peaceful and relaxing vineyard with good wines and a nice view
They sell cheap wine at high price, and the food menu is the worst.
Nice small scenic vineyard, located in more remote area away from the highway, which I prefer.
Service was great, however, didn't appreciate the automatic gratuity added to the tab without posting it anywhere or on the menus.
I was riding down the back roads which I haven't done in so long.
I passed this vineyard a long time now. I also fish the harbor right behind it but I've never actually gone inside.
Which is a real shame. So today I decided to just stop and check it out.
It's really wonderful to stand and look at the 1690 home . such a nice view from the parking lot as it looks down the vineyard into the harbor.
You walk to the front door and it feels like you should knock. But I didn't I just walked in and my goodness the interior is nothing that I expected What a beautiful space What a wonderful job they did to the inside.
That foyer is just really so cool I love how it mixes the modern as well as the farmhouse styles together.
To the right there is a really quiet seating area. Is air conditioning so it's cool inside and it was very humid outside although nice you could definitely notice when you walked back out the door how humid it really was and how well climate control the inside space is.
To the left is where the bar. I was greeted promptly by one of the bartenders. They're all so nice.
I just kept walking around and coming back and asking them questions and they were very cordial and very attentive to my questions and inquiries.
I'm glad I kept asking because I never would have found out that in 1850, the farm was owned by Shep Jones, first cousin of Long Island’s famous genre painter, William Sidney Mount.
Mount used the farm’s barns in three of his famous paintings including “Dance of the Haymakers” painted at the farm in 1845.
This is an important connection to the area. I went to Mount elementary school so it's really nice to place a painting in a space that I knew known my whole life that it was painted right here pretty cool.
I will definitely be back here to sample some of the wraps that they have as well as some of the wine and sit overlooking the the vineyard.
They had board games in the corner if you want to do that as well pretty cool.
Also for a fun ride to get here take Shep Jones lane from 25 a It's paved but then it comes into Avalon hiking trails so drive slow but it's a dirt trail that we leave you almost to where this is situated. It doesn't feel like you can drive through there but you can. You can also park and walk the trails afterwards or before.
Definitely visit this gem ? hidden and nestled among the trees and the winding roads to get here.
Incredible suneset! We love that that it is an adult only venue!!!
I have not yet gone to this vineyard (I plan to) but I agree with the no kids rule, this is a place of peace and quiet and I think leaving the kids home would be more relaxing for every party involved.
I had an absolutely wonderful experience. The drive to the vineyard was scenic and serene, setting a perfect tone for the day. The vineyards themselves are stunning, offering a picturesque setting that immediately captures your attention.
Upon arrival, my friends and I decided to indulge in their wine flights. The selection was impressive, and each wine we sampled was delightful. The cost for both the wine and food came to about $37 per person, which felt reasonable given the quality and ambiance.
One of the highlights of Harmony Vineyards is the breathtaking view from the edge of the vineyards. It's truly something you have to see in person to appreciate fully, as photos simply don't capture its full beauty.
I did notice some mixed reviews here, but our personal experience was highly enjoyable.

Visited this place some years ago and had a really good time. During that visit the wine was good and the atmosphere beautiful (vineyard, gazebo, water, etc..) My wife and I came with our daughter. The adults were enjoying the wine, the kids were out and about enjoying the yard. Sadly, this isn't the case anymore. I'd venture the wine is still good, but can't be certain, as my wife and I weren't allowed to partake, having come with our two kids and promptly being asked to leave. I suppose I can appreciate a business not waiting to deal with the occasional annoyance of kids running around and such. Nevertheless, many, many, many people who appreciate wine just happen to have kids, and when the weather is nice, want to go to a vineyard and drink some wine while looking at pretty things like trees, growing grapes, the water, and the occasional Blue-Jay. Just saying...
This Vinyard is a hidden treasure.
Spent a little time this past Saturday; what a jewel and located so close to where I live. We were warmly greeted, and the entire experience was positive, the wines were superb and the cheese board also a hit. We will definitely return. Thank you Harmony Vineyards.
We had a very nice lunch and wine tasting outside in summer. Make sure to have reservations
Impossibly picturesque setting. And that’s it. Slow, indifferent service. Very small pours (maybe 4-5 oz per glass) for 16$. And 20$ for a cheese plate that had 12 small pieces of Costco-quality cheese and a small, unopened package of dry, flavorless cracker/ toasts. We dropped 85$ per person for the equivalent of about 2 glasses of wine and 4 bites of cheese.
