Stunning views, history, and grounds!
Great concept and location, I really liked the Chardonnay. I think it’s a huge missed opportunity for them to not have any hot food or drinks in the fall weather for the movie nights. We were bundled up good but a hot chocolate or tea from stop and shop would’ve been an easy sell. I was told they do mulled wine sometimes which again would’ve been great as well. That said though, service was great and quick and we would definitely come back.
Beautiful vineyard with views of the water. We went for movie night which was pre-paid per person. Only let down was a few menu items were not available and we planned to have a more filling dinner than what we were able to have.
Recommend going. As for owner recommendations, it would have been great to have that menu more available, some items were incomplete we ordered and I overheard one menu item ran out despite it not being too packed. Also would be nice to have some outdoor heaters setup and offer popcorn for movie nights! Could also offer branded blankets for sale to use which could also help advertising.
Great wine beautiful location and excellent service as always.
Always coming back
Great location with terrific views, good wine, and attentive service. Highly recommend.
Unwelcoming staff took away from what could have been a pleasant vineyard experience. Disappointing.
Very disappointing.
Came on Sunday to Port Jeff from another state for my boyfriend's birthday and the 5 of us took an uber (not cheap) to this location.
I understand I should have made a reservation, but its not ok to close the winery at 3:30pm when on the website it says that is open and that it closes at 6:00.
What a waist of time and money.
oo my gosh, this is a nice settings, definitely not the bougie places you find on the east end (either nort shore or south shore). outdated building has tons of charm with a lot of authenticity. Too bad the fireplace are “fake” gas fireplaces. The wine is not worse the drive and definitely tasting is overpriced. Disappointing wines. I repeat, this is a location to visit for the setting and not for the wine
Megan G was wonderful! She was so attentive and we had the best time!
Awesome experience in this hidden gem in Long Island. The wine was excellent and the overall atmosphere was quite enjoyable. Also, Fabio was very knowledgeable of the wines and took the time to explain each one on the menu. He was patient, friendly and made awesome recommendations. This vineyard is definitely worth the 1.5 hour drive from the city.

peaceful and relaxing vineyard with good wines and a nice view
They sell cheap wine at high price, and the food menu is the worst.
Nice small scenic vineyard, located in more remote area away from the highway, which I prefer.
Service was great, however, didn't appreciate the automatic gratuity added to the tab without posting it anywhere or on the menus.
I was riding down the back roads which I haven't done in so long.
I passed this vineyard a long time now. I also fish the harbor right behind it but I've never actually gone inside.
Which is a real shame. So today I decided to just stop and check it out.
It's really wonderful to stand and look at the 1690 home . such a nice view from the parking lot as it looks down the vineyard into the harbor.
You walk to the front door and it feels like you should knock. But I didn't I just walked in and my goodness the interior is nothing that I expected What a beautiful space What a wonderful job they did to the inside.
That foyer is just really so cool I love how it mixes the modern as well as the farmhouse styles together.
To the right there is a really quiet seating area. Is air conditioning so it's cool inside and it was very humid outside although nice you could definitely notice when you walked back out the door how humid it really was and how well climate control the inside space is.
To the left is where the bar. I was greeted promptly by one of the bartenders. They're all so nice.
I just kept walking around and coming back and asking them questions and they were very cordial and very attentive to my questions and inquiries.
I'm glad I kept asking because I never would have found out that in 1850, the farm was owned by Shep Jones, first cousin of Long Island’s famous genre painter, William Sidney Mount.
Mount used the farm’s barns in three of his famous paintings including “Dance of the Haymakers” painted at the farm in 1845.
This is an important connection to the area. I went to Mount elementary school so it's really nice to place a painting in a space that I knew known my whole life that it was painted right here pretty cool.
I will definitely be back here to sample some of the wraps that they have as well as some of the wine and sit overlooking the the vineyard.
They had board games in the corner if you want to do that as well pretty cool.
Also for a fun ride to get here take Shep Jones lane from 25 a It's paved but then it comes into Avalon hiking trails so drive slow but it's a dirt trail that we leave you almost to where this is situated. It doesn't feel like you can drive through there but you can. You can also park and walk the trails afterwards or before.
Definitely visit this gem ? hidden and nestled among the trees and the winding roads to get here.
Incredible suneset! We love that that it is an adult only venue!!!
