I absolutely love what their doing with kids night. But they really need to improve the ice cream part of their business. I ordered a vanilla egg cream on my last visit and got a chocolate mess. Last night i ordered 3 ice cream floats, the soda they used was warm. serving warm soda in a float is a no no, why why why. Back to carvel I go.

Abundance of unique flavors and all of your favorites, and they're all so good. The cherry on top of their great quality ice cream is even better service - lots of well-trained, patient folks who keep the line moving efficiently and always with a smile. It genuinely makes a difference when you walk into a crowded shop and the staff/management are smiling, taking time to help you, and showing gratitude for your patronage. Also super cool that they have music outside for families and little ones. Love having this place on Lake.

Ordered a small Cookies n' Cream shake without whipped cream. SO GOOD! I will definitely be back!

Dietary restrictions: Peanut and tree nut allergy (NOT severe). Staff members were knowledgeable and understood cross-contamination concerns.

Love this place. Friendly staff with incredible selections. Love the white chocolate raspberry and rainbow cookie. Even if you're not close by, make the trip. Definitely worth it.

We had our daughter's 4th birthday at Mickey's and it was so much fun! The staff were super helpful and accommodating and the space is so nice. We had access to the inside and outside because it was a beautiful day so the kids had plenty of room to run around. The craft they had planned was super cute and of course the best part was the kids were able to make their own sundaes. I would definitely recommend Mickey’s if you're looking for a cute place to have a party!

With all the glowing reviews we had seen, my family and I were quite surprised by our experience. The quality wasn't necessarily bad, but it was rather bland and unimpressive. Nothing really stood out, and the overall experience felt a bit below average. Perhaps we visited on an off day, but given that the ice cream is produced in a factory (as noted on their menu), this seems unlikely. On a positive note, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant, making it a decent local spot.

Ice cream was good, nothing out of this world. Came here during a "kids day". They do this every week. Character that was there was Sonic. They had a DJ who played some music. I do wish the music and the microphone weren't so loud though. You got kids literally in front of the speakers, no need to turn the volume up like you're performing at a club.

Across there street there's a nice play area for kids to run around.

The tab on Mickeys Ice Cream Kitchen website states “Located in the heart of St. James, Mickeys Ice Cream Kitchen and Space is the soon-to-be legendary ice cream experience…”
I can personally vouch for the truth of that statement.
After a heavenly hike in Avalon Nature Preserve we decided to find an ice cream shop nearby.
The google search revealed Mickeys as only 7 minutes away so we figured we’d give it a try.
YUM! Excellent ice cream, great service and we sat in the shade on the picnic tables they have outside.
We will definitely come back!!!
BTW Black Raspberry Chunk is my new favorite ice cream flavor!
