THIS IS AN UPSCALE RESTAURANT, that has all the features of such. Including expensive dishes and drinks. But that's the point isn't it? You wouldn't go there if the prices were reasonable. The people that frequent this restaurant are proud to spend $100+ a head. And of course this is easily accomplished by purchasing appetizers, main dish, desserts, and of course multiple drinks. All this being said if you can afford it you will not be disappointed. Make reservations in advance.Kid-friendliness: Leave the kids with the sitter.Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure about wheelchair accessibility, but if I was in a wheelchair I would think this place would be too crowded.

NOCO never disappoints for so many reasons! The staff are incredible and very attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. And of course the food is of the best quality as well as the presentation. I only found this gem recently and will be my new favorite.

I really wish I had taken pictures of the food because it was not only extraordinarily delicious, but played beautifully! I got the filet mignon and my partner got the pork rib roast. Both were out of this world. Our server was so friendly, and all the staff were on top of everything. We had a miscommunication on something and the manager made sure everything was rectified right away. AND they gave everyone long stemmed roses as a token for Valentine's Day. It was honestly the best Valentine's Day dining experience I've had in a long time. I certainly recommend this establishment!

Several friends and I have been to NOCO a few times now. Each time I bring different friends to this restaurant, their reaction is the same. They love it! The food is excellent and consistent. There is plenty of happy staff to wait on you. The menu has something for everyone, and they don't rush you out to turn the table quickly. It's one of my favorite restaurants.

Went on a recommendation on Thursday during Resturant week. Came early (4 pm) without reservations. We were seated at a table in the bar. The Resturant week menu was just delightful. We shared mussels and calamari ( on recommendation of our friendly helpful waitress Victoria) and both were terrific as was our entree. Cheesecake was desert and was a perfect ending. First time here but we will be back. Perfect marriage of staff, bar service and kitchen. Bravo !!

My wife and I had dinner last night at NOCO in St James. I had dined there previously for a work event but this was her first visit. We started at the bar while waiting for our table to be ready. My wife had the “pretty Woman” (vodka, cranberry juice, cucumber and lime juice) while I had an IPA. Our bartender was attentive and mixed a great drink! We moved to the dining room at a table with a full view of the open kitchen. We love that type of kitchen. We started with the raw bar appetizer (oysters, clams, shrimp and tuna). The presentation was outstanding and the quality of the fish even better. My wife had the cedar plank salmon and i had the wild boar meatloaf. Both very plentiful portions and cooked to perfection. Our servers (Liv and two gentlemen) were attentive, pleasant, and most importantly did not rush us! The atmosphere was warm and inviting and a bit lively (but not loud). This was a truly outstanding dining experience and we can’t wait to return with our best friends! Thanks NOCO for an amazing dining experience…

Unbelievable experience for dinner yesterday. First of all, the atmosphere was terrific and the restaurant was beautiful on the inside. For appetizer we got the Spanish octopus which was the most tender piece of fish I’ve ever eaten in my life. It was extremely flavorful, especially with the Chorizzo on the side. For dinner we got the Ravioli and Farfalle special which was great as well. This was my first time at the restaurant and I was extremely pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere. One of the best restaurants around the St James/Smithtown area. Highly recommend.

We had an assortment of delicious and fresh appetizers: clams, oysters, octopus, shrimp, some raw, and others cooked with innovative imagination. Our savory main courses of lamb, duck, and spaghettini were equally creative and mouthwatering. Excellent experience.
