Poor customer service. I was there for less than 30 minutes after ordering when I was asked to move because a couple had supposedly been waiting 35 minutes. The staff I interacted with were rude and dismissive, which made the experience even worse. I also didn’t see any reservation system on their website, and the food was mediocre at best.

I ordered white mocha coffee with almond milk because I have a Bad allergies to cows milk. I was told it was almond milk, yet I had such a really bad allergic reaction to my coffee. I can not believe that they lied to me and gave me coffee with cows milk. I had such a horrible reaction, had to go home fast.

I found a plastic sauce lid inside of my matcha after drinking the majority of it. The staff and hostess were especially rude and dismissive about it. This is disgusting. On top of that, the waitress dropped the bananas off of my pancake and apparently the chef refused to add them again. I used to love this place and now I am so grossed out. This restaurant has gone downhill entirely and it's a health hazard.

Where do I begin… have been coming to this place for years… no issues..food…coffee… always perfect! Today on New Years Day decided we to stop in for lunch… from the second we sat down the waitress clearly did not seem in a good mood as we watched her walk around the restaurant with a puss on her face… okay fine no big deal it is what it is… but her attitude continuously got worse through out our dining experience…it got to the point where asking for a side of sauce was the icing on the cake for her. When she finally brought it over she carelessly tossed it on the corner of the table looking up at the ceiling the entire time not acknowledging us. To the point where we felt extremely uncomfortable even sitting at the table. After she brought it to us… ignoring us going to other tables (which was very obvious) and skipping over ours. At first we thought we were the crazy ones if we were making up this entire scenario in our heads…the most strangest and uncomfortable dining experience I have ever had. Finally after waiting a long time for a check? Box? Anything else? ( which we got none of) she eventually tossed when I say tossed TOSSED the bill on the table..To the point where I will not go back…she was extremely dismissive and would not make eye contact with us and when she did it was as if she couldn’t wait for us to leave. So when another waitress decided to pick up our bill since we were being ignored and wouldn’t come back over to our table… we payed and left and won’t be going back because of the service we experienced today. Happy New Year😬

I absolutely love Soul Brew!
I’ve been adoring this place from afar since I moved away from Long Island in 2016, but I always make sure to stop by when I’m back home.
As if the creative menu and specialty drinks weren’t enough, the whole atmosphere is Soul Brew is just awesome. They display local art for sale! They’re always playing great music (and now they host open mic nights, I hope to catch one next time I’m on the island!). The staff is so kind and helpful. I love walking from my husband’s parents house and grabbing the latest seasonal drink to go, as well as meeting up with friends and grabbing brunch and catching up.
I was also lucky to have my bridal shower at Soul Brew! They catered a delicious dinner and served up some seriously tasty drinks as we celebrated. The two women working the event were just incredible and SO gracious as I herded all my ladies out at the end of the night.
Soul Brew is the local coffee shop I wish was way closer to me (and not across the country 😅)…but I’ll be a fan girly for life! 🫶🌈☕️

Amazing place. The entire shopping center is amazing. So many great places to eat and the restaurant right next door go shopping center that u can easily walk to in 1 min, Stone GOAT IS AMAZING. They have a beer garden and outside games for the whole family. A MUST VISIT. 556 N Country rd, St James NY, 11780

I’ve had a chai tea latte in many different places. I find the one I purchased at Soul Brew to be really good ! The inside is adorable, good for groups and they do have a nice menu.

This cafe is an absolute must visit. I have friends who live in the area reccomending Soul Brew when I got the chance to take a vacation In New York and it was phenomenal! I absolutely loved the Churro French Toast definitely my favorite and I greatly appreciate the kitchen for accommodating that for me they were awesome. I also loved the Cali Crunch it was so good! Last but not certainly not least a huge thank you to Ari for assisting and taking care of my group she was wonderful and really helpful with all the questions we had!😁
very nice place. I had one issue where my eggs came out scrambled instead of sunny side up. one of the managers, Ariana handled that for me with no issue. overall experience and food was good, will come again. :D
