I’m a gluten free vegan. There are very little places for me to eat out. I was sooo excited when I found Sweet Soul. Their food is phenomenal! Super clean organic ingredients. I finally don’t have to make cakes for my kids birthdays anymore, bc no other bakery was up to par for my standards.Pat the owner and all the staff are so kind, friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend trying their baked goods and their lunch on Saturdays .They ice cream cake and chipwitches are to die for!!

We are patrons of natural, specialty food. It's a treat to have a full vegan bakery in the area, even if we have to travel 45 min.The Irish soda bread was salty and too dry (Wild By Nature, down the road, has an amazing one!)The soups are savory, tasty. The blondies are fine but I wish they would stop calling the small donut shaped cakes, donuts.It would be fantastic if they ever made donuts. I love donuts! Jelly and Boston creme stuffed donuts are the best-but they don't make donuts here.We can just about handle the expensive pricing. Lunch and snacks for 2 have been $70, almost as much as dinner ina restaurant, however the last couple of weeks, they're becoming full of themselves and been chincy with ingredients!There was three ribs in the photo yet the "meal" was two TINY ribs, and the small cup of coleslaw was bigger than the meat!! The corned beef sandwich was also not as the tasty photo! You couldn't see the meat and there was more sauerkraut! Even the Irish soda breadonly had a few raisins!Bleck. Completely unacceptableBefore you go make sure they can provide, what the picture you were attracted shows, or just a lot more meat. We will stop going, if they continue playing these games and don't change soon

After a horrible experience anda gracious response, we were encouraged to give this placeanother go.The incredible million bar, if cut as in the samples, instead of sold in $40 blocks and labels for cupcakes and mini cheesecakes, would be sensible anda win for the business and customers.An all vegan bakery with hot savories on Saturday, is novel especially for the the area.Palm heart tacos with red cabbage slaw were perfect, after we picked up On the Border salsa and vegan sour cream.It's definitely worth a visit or two for a mushroom gyro with unique, yummy coconut flour pita and cauliflower soup. Casual, cosy and expensive

Super delicious vegan (and gluten-free) desserts. Mini cheesecakes are a must have. Plus you can get great coffee to go with your treat. There's a little counter to eat in, just in case you need to eat that treat *right now*.

Cutest little owner operated bakery, 100% vegan and gluten free, and it has a wonderful little picnic table sitting area outside. We had some outstanding sandwiches, delicious cupcakes and yummy drinks. Highly recommended.
I used to go to Sweet Soul a lot but have not returned since summer of 2020. While mask requirements were still going on, I walked in to get a lobster roll to find about 5 employees in the store, not one of whom were masked. I was frustrated but decided to still order what I came for. The woman making my lobster roll, who happens to be the co-owner, was making my roll, then with her gloves on walked over to her cell phone and started using her phone with the gloves on, then went back over to the lobster roll and finished making it using the same gloves. Absolutely disgusting and so disappointing. I was so incredibly grossed out and decided that I saw enough and wouldn't return. If they couldn't follow mask rules while they were set by the government, and showed such terrible hygiene in plain sight, I can't even imagine what goes on behind closed doors. It's really a shame because I live locally and would give them so much business, but they've lost me as a customer forever. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-11

I DON'T GET TO GO AS OFTEN AS I WOULD LIKE DUE TO THE DISTANCE FROM MY HOME, BUT ENJOY TRYING TO MAKE IT ON THE WEEKENDS FOR THEIR DELICIOUS SAVORY OPTIONS. THEY HAVE SPECIALS EACH WEEK WHICH ARE OUT OF THIS WORLD. SPECIAL SHAKES ALSO. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT. THEY ALWAYS ARE GREAT WITH ANSWERING ANY & ALL QUESTIONS. So happy to have finally discovered a delicious local gluten-free, dairy-free bakery! We initially went in looking for a cake for a family member’s birthday but learned that all cake orders have to be placed 2 days in advance. On their IG it only noted this 2 day notice for ice cream cakes so we were surprised but took one look at the cupcakes and knew those would make a great alternative. There were only 10 cupcakes available so we bought them all. Each one was very rich and we all had a fun time trying the different flavors. I gave 4 stars due to the lack of cakes on hand as well as not having much variety to pick from but that won’t stop us from visiting again. The lady behind the counter was also extremely nice and helpful.
