Food is good. But I felt the staff was very disrespectful. They gave us a wrong order. When we asked about it, because some in our group could not consume it, they said they’ll give us the proper order. But they still ended up charging for the thing we did not order. Very disappointed. 😞

I’ve been on the hunt for authentic tacos, and I’m so happy to say I’ve finally found them right here in St. James. Tacos Cinco de Mayo serves the best tacos in the area hands down. The portions are generous, and the sauce bar is a great touch that lets you customize your plate just the way you like it.
So far, I’ve tried the brisket tostadas and steak tacos both were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. I’ve heard rave reviews about the al pastor and birria as well (though I don’t eat pork), and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re just as amazing.
The taqueria is cozy, with seating for around 8 tables, and their drinks are all made in-house. I really enjoyed the Jamaica and tamarindo, and they also offer horchata and passion fruit.
It’s such a great addition to our town, authentic, flavorful, and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I came in during the lunch rush. People that came in after me were being helped before me so at this point I was already annoyed. I was hungry so I decided to stay and ordered 1 chicken taco and 1 shrimp taco. When I get to my car to eat I saw that they gave me a beef taco and a shrimp taco which was RAW and the tails/shell still on. I've eaten alot of shrimp tacos and I have never biten into a taco with shrimp shells Will not be coming back for multiple reasons. Avoid.

This is the best tacos I have ever had. This was my x times coming here. I always get the Lengua aka beef tongue and Tripa aka beef tripe. I personally think the beef tongue tacos is the best. The meat they gave you is filling the whole tortilla which is so satisfying. The main point is they are not expensive at all compared to the restaurant outside, and the other restaurants won’t give you as much to fill the tortilla. It definitely worths to drive even an hour to try it. I highly recommended this tacos restaurant. One thing is that the environment there is not as good as a fine dining restaurant. It is more like a fast food place.

This is a Mom and pops authentic Mexican spot for those who like real Mexican food. I love this place. I order from there all the time to pick up and sometimes I dine in and have a beer or 2. Tips are not mandatory since you get your food from the counter and self clean your table, but I always tip at least something. There is a salsa bar where they have all kinds of toppings and sauces which I love! They have reasonable prices and the food is super tasty! I recommend the Al pastor burrito or the steak burrito, tacos al pastor and the birria taco, super yummy and very filling.

I know I'm a gringo but I've had a LOT of Spanish food. This is the best taco place I've ever eaten at. The steam table looked phenomenal as well and I can't wait to come back and try some more. I tried the al pastor tacos which were unbelievable, my friend had the birria tacos which were also phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and come try a taco
