My wife and I attended a wine tasting dinner event at Villa Sorrento and I have to say it was absolutely superb. The owner Sal and his wife were present and oversaw the entire event. Made us feel very welcome. The wine choices were spectacular and the dinner was just as spectacular. Great waiter staff, great chef and atmosphere. Highly recommend this family operated restaurant. Five stars across-the-board

My wife and I are new to Smithtown and have been trying all of the restaurants in the vicinity. Well, last night was Villa Sorrento in St. James. We were the only ones in the restaurant(5:15 PM) and a few guys at the bar. Greeted by unnamed waiter and seated. Looked over menu and specials and ordered away. Bottle of house red was decent. I had baked clams and marinated skirt steak, which were both good. My wife had the filet mignon spring rolls which were delicious and...

Our backyard wedding reception turned out great this weekend. The food and the staff were unbelievable. Guests commented that they never tasted better food at a wedding reception.
