There are currently slim pickings for vegans in Lake Placid, but Origin Coffee has a Vegan Panini with vegan breakfast sausage, a really nice avocado toast, and many vegetarian pastries and a vegetarian breakfast wrap with scrambled eggs. They also offer vegan milk, I had a wonderful vegan latte with almond milks, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will definitely go again if I’m in the area.

What else can I even say when a latte and a hot chocolate look this good on an iPhone camera? This place was amazing and had such friendly baristas. If I am ever in the area I will definitely be back. It was in a perfect spot in town on the main road and seemed to get busy as the morning continued on so make sure to stop in early!
Coffee was very good. They only had a bold medium ready to go, but as a lover of rich tasting coffee, I enjoyed it. They also do pour overs for different roasts. Baked goods were sold out by 11am or so
