The cubano and sweet plantains I ordered were some of the best I've ever eaten. The yuka fries were also wonderful. I also appreciated the selection of delicious sauces!! Plus, the staff were so lovely and helpful!

Great food, friendly staff. Restaurant was allergy friendly as well using no peanuts or tree nuts. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing food! We got the fried chicken plate, large plate with pork and a salad. Great flavor, would come back again when I’m in the area!

We had the Cuban Sandwich and the Bistec Encebollada. The food tasted so good, well seasoned, and completely authentic Dominican food. By far, the best food I had during my stay in the Adorindack Mountains.

Absolutely delicious and amazing little gem in the heart of Saranac Lake. Skip the menu and go straight to the daily specials. I feel like I went on vacation for the night. A must visit local favorite.

Simply one of the best places to dine within 5 hours any direction! The loaded tostones with pork keep us coming back again and again! Not to mention the friendly smiles and hospitable service from The CHEF to the hostess/server. Legit Dominican/Soul food in Saranac Lake

Our server was so friendly and warm, such a pleasure to talk to! The food was delicious! I ordered a small plate and it was still a very generous amount of food. The chinola was on point too. So glad we found this gem!

Where we sat the floor smelled like a mixture of cleaning agent and something funky. (Kids were starving so we didn’t change restaurants) Waitress jokingly admonished us for sitting down without waiting to be seated. Even though it was empty with only one othe table. Food was decent except for the steak. It was seasoned fine, but a terrible cut. Like a thin piece of London boil, it was very very chewy.

Without a question the best rice and beans I've ever had, perfectly tender chicken and a great cabbage salad. The service was impeccable and they asked if I wanted cilantro free options. The Mac and cheese is the best comfort food imaginable. Great people and food!

Go here. Go today. Just go.

Had plates with jerk chicken and the rice of the day. Jerk chicken was amazing. My only complaint is I didn't (couldn't) eat more food. Planning to go back for the loaded tostones because they look delicious! I love island food and this rivals all Caribbean we have had in USVI, TCI, and Dominica.

Go. ?

My husband and I went there and the food was so delicious! The food we ordered was southern dish called the Hank and it was delicious. My husband said the Mac and cheese could have been cheesier, but we still have no complaints as it was delicious so we didnt really mind!
The waitress and chef were also so friendly and warm it made the experience even more enjoyable. At one point, the chef made to many empanadas for another table, and just offered us the extra food for free. It was perfect, as we never had an empanada before and it gave us a taste of what they are capable of as well as some humor for the situation. The place itself is cozy, warm, and very comfortable and provides a different backround to what you'd normally expect from a restaurant in the adirondacks. 5 stars, plan to go again with my kids to give them a different taste to the regular blandness that is in the adirondacks.
