Great little spot reminds me of the countryside pubs in Ireland. Just the bottom level of the owners family house type of thing. I only got soup to go but I will definitely be going back for a full meal everything looked amazing. Friendly folks and bartender. I love bars like this, nothing pretentious, no smoke infused color changing blah blah cocktails that are everywhere in Lake Placid. Just ice cold beer, home cooked food, and good conversation Adk simplicity.
I’d have to say this is the best bar I’ve ever been to. Not kidding. The women working were all so hospitable, fun and attentive. We found it while driving home from a snowmobiling excursion. We had yummy food and amazing drinks, paired with the best service I have ever seen. The crowd in the joint is very friendly and they really make you feel at home. Thanks yall for making such a special experience for us!
The restaurant has a real local and welcoming feel. Our waitress Meana, was extremely friendly, funny and catered to all our needs in a timely manner. Compliments to chef “Doobie’ the food was absolutely delicious! We all ordered something different and shared plates. There’s even a jukebox and pool table. We wouldn’t change a thing about ☘️ Bar & Grill!
