Whatever you do, don’t eat here. 90 minute wait for average food after ordering. Worse, we gave up waiting for dessert after that. The manager decided to lecture us on how tough the restaurant business is with little empathy. Oh well.

Excellent food, menu is perfect for the geographical location of Italy they are replicating, which I might say they do very well. Small place, but they really work hard to get you in quick, use the reservation system, they got us in with 5 minutes or our time. Service is excellent and food was amazing, kitchen is upfront, which is actually better than you think. The staff works hard and seem to have a wonderful attitude. This place is wonderful, Kudos to DZ Restaurants very nice work!

My fiancé and I went for her birthday dinner. As part of DZ restaurants they offer $20 off a $70 purchase once during your birthday month if you are signed up on their website. We started with the grilled octopus appetizer. Unfortunately, the octopus was quite chewy and the beans served with it were almost raw. Our waitress was kind enough to offer us an alternative appetizer without charge. The carpaccio was excellent. For entrees, we both had ordered pasta dishes. They were both quite nice, however our waitress was so busy with so many tables, we were without anything to drink, including water, during the meal. Overall, the food was relatively good, but I would recommend ordering something simple for the price vs quality. They are understaffed which unfortunately made our experience much less enjoyable. We will not be returning but hope in the future they will be able to improve food quality and service.

We had a delicious meal for my brothers birthday! Our server was attentive and our food was yummy! The bartenders made great cocktails and the host was dapper! Thank you!! See you again soon!

We went for an early dinner around 6 on a Friday. They sat us in a little room by the bar, which was very crowded but not disturbing. We started off with the fried calamari and a beautiful green chick pea and quinoa dish that was amazingly flavorful. Next short ribs for hubby, which was very generous, and the house made gnocchi with truffles. Very delicious and light. The martinis were perfect, and served in the proper glass, as opposed to the champagne glasses a lot of restaurants are using these days. Wait staff was very attentive. We were a bit rushed, but overall a positive experience.

Always a great experience at Chianti. Appetizers and dinners were outstanding. Fantastic service with Kevin. Make your reservations well ahead of time if you are looking for prime time (6-8pm). This gem is usually booked solid!

Very nice restaurant. Portions are big. The wife and I shared a Caesar salad to start, I'm glad we did since it was large. My wife had the Angel hair pasta with shrimp and I the mushroom risotto. Again both nice sized dishes that were delicious. Recommend reservations the place was packed by 6 pm. They also had a lot of guests eating at the bar.

Chianti has always been one of our favorites as it is consistently good. The cocktails, octopus, braised short rib, rabbit were all delicious. The romaine heart salad with shaved Parmesan was abundant but pretty boring, so I would skip that next time. Service was great but they do like to pack people in on Valentine's so it was very tight and loud and hard to hear each other without yelling. The ambiance is fun though!

While I love going to Chianti, I feel like the service was lacking this time. I know it was lacking because I saw another server in charge of the tables next to us who was completely accommodating and wonderful to each table he was in charge of. Meanwhile, our server nearly paid attention to us and barely checked in. Not the type of experience you want to have when you're paying that much money for dinner. The server that was wonderful had clearly been there for many years and knew how to engage with his tables. But our server did not have that skill and it showed. Everything else was lovely and I will continue going to Chianti- I'll just probably request a different server next time.

Really delicious food. But, OMG sooo noisy. Then I got schooled by the host for scooting my chair to the other side of the table so my mom could hear me. He told me I was interfering with flow of service. I said, I'm in front of a window. But, I moved to the other side of the table and yelled across the table like everyone else. Really enjoyed the food and the cocktail was amazing. Left with my ears ringing. BTW, I did request a quieter spot when I made my reservation. Perhaps that doesn't exist.

We dinned with friends (party of 4) before the VOCES8 concert at Universal Preservation Hall. Food and service were outstanding but ambiance really sets Chianti apart from the rest: it's *one of only two* restaurants I've found in Saratoga that doesn't assault diners with blasting trash-pop music. I will certainly return to Chianti. It's a great place where you can have fantastic Italian food and talk to your friends at dinner without screaming to be heard. Thank you!

This was my first time in Saratoga Springs so I wasn't sure where to go. I did a quick google search and Chianti showed up as a recommendation. I was looking for a nice restaurant to celebrate my birthday & it was a great choice. The food was delicious. The ambiance was nice & the staff were warm and welcoming. The pork osso bucco was on special and i would definitely recommend.

We've been going to Chianti since it opened – first and its original location, and, for a long time now, at their “new“ location on Division Street. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants as part of their approach was to make it affordable enough to dine here with some regularity. I was sad to see last night that the prices have moved up considerably and, from what I can tell, the serving sizes are also getting smaller. With significant increases in the prices of the wines and it now joins some of the top restaurants in the area in terms of cost. While it's certainly good enough for a visit once or twice a year, there are places I like better at the same price level.

Wasn't crowed but was very loud, hard to have a conversation. Food was good fresh but pricey I expected it though. Atmosphere is pub-like not intimate all. Depends on what you're looking for I suppose.
