I moved to the albany area from the city and I really love this place, the ingredients and toppings taste fresh and delicious. I'm a big fan of the wood fired thin crust, a lot of the pizzas in the albany area are too doughy and floppy. They are ny style slices but never have the crispy undercarriage. So I'd say if you like a thin and crispy pizza with a nice char this is it.

Pizza was awesome. Lots of vegan options too. I got Buffalo Chicken Pizza, that was very good. Delivery was good too.

Never before in my life have I been so disappointed by Gennaro’s. Ordered four pizzas. Three were gluten free. Or were supposed to be, I have a nasty feeling one of them isn’t, but I won’t know until it’s too late and I’m up all night vomiting my guts out. That one had three of the four toppings ordered, with no cheese and no sauce. What the actual heck.Gluten free pizza number two? The first time they made it, they were out of grilled chicken, so they decided to put breaded chicken on it. Breaded chicken. Which has gluten. Because it’s coated in wheat flour. So they remade it. But it looks a lot like they made the pizza and then just shoved the toppings onto it. The broccoli is raw. The chicken is tepid. The ricotta is cold.I can only assume the third gluten free pizza and the fourth, lactose free pizza are fine, as I haven’t heard differently. But they also gave us a random slice of pizza that nobody can eat, because it’s not lactose free or gluten free. What a waste of food. Maybe next time don’t do that. I used to trust Gennaro’s, but now I’m wary of ordering from there again. Cannot recommend as of now.

Gennaro's is my go-to for pizza parties! Their delicious pizzas are a crowd-pleaser with a variety of toppings ensures there's something for everyone. We got a blanca, gennaro, and cheese pie today. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the sauce-to-cheese ratio was spot-on. With Gennaro's, you can't go wrong when planning a pizza-centric gathering! Their wings are always crispy! (Our fav)We also enjoy their weekday dinner specials when we need an easy night. My husband loves the arancini balls.Highly recommend this local pizza shop!

Vegetarian options: Plenty of non meat pizza options available. The menu has a few friendly options also.Parking: Lunch time parking is always busy, slices are a popular lunch option. Parking can be a little busy if you want convenience, but options are available during busier times. Most people try to park in front, and the parking is shared with 4 other businesses. It's worth it for a short walk.

Solid pizza shop, quick with orders and very consistent food quality. Renovations look great and price is decentParking: So many businesses in one location you can end up searching for parking longer than it takes to pick up your order

I ordered antipasto salad, and it was good, but the dressing was balsamic vinegar that doesn't go well with that. A real antipasto salad eater knows that house dressing goes well, with that kind of saladI also ordered garlic knots and got garlic bread with a bunch of garlic butter on top

food was absollutely disgusting. Who puts onions on mushroom pizza? Chicken cutlet parm had an orange saice with green something on it AND it was 3 little strips of chicken on each half. The rice balls had no taste and the sauce on the side sicked big time. Even the caeser salad was bad, croutons too soggy and too much dressing.Only went there because of the Yelp reviews. Will never trust Yelp reviews again

food doesnt even deserve one star. Sauce was awful on the pizza, chicken cutlet parm was a sorry excuse for a hero with 3 eeny bitty slices of chicken on the hero and the rice balls had no taste. Never again will we go here

Fantastic pizza rivals the Brooklyn joint we also just discovered. A great find on the road home and would highly recommend.
